It was originally by Credence Clearwater Revival. The Boss may have made his version, but I never knew him to copy another artist. I thought that John Fogerty wrote and sang Centerfield. He interacts with Dasha but I have yet to see him or Demid directly interact with one another. They usually seem to just ignore each other.
