Prodog Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 I'm seeing a porn site redirect when opining page 108. At this point it seems like this is the only malicious effect. It appears that this is the only page where this is happening (for me). Anyone else seeing this? This is not a good sign if someone is inserting bad script into the forum. Page 108, as soon as the page loaded, i hit the "x" to stop loading everything, and didnt redirect. Im on a Mac though, perhaps that makes a difference. Prodog Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Yes, Woof an immediate stop page load also stops the redirect on a Windows PC as well. I should have thought of that. Duh! While I was able to see the page I did a little investigating. The culprit appears to be a bad post by member jimrustler. It is the last post on the page. The links in that post lead to the same spam porn site that redirects when attempting to load page 108. Somehow those spam porn links are auto loading when the page loads and voila, you're off to the porn site. This is a screenshot of the bad post. Note the bad links. (No they won't load here because it's only a picture. Shame on you jimrustler for posting outside spam links and for fucking up one of the threads on this forum. In fact as soon as you start to look at a history of this guy's posts, you get a redirect to the spam porn site. Mods... Why is this guy still in this forum? I think it could be from those fapgalore links. All the other links are dirtybin and things for the attachment center. It's looking to add something to play a file and the fapgalore links are .mp4 so likely trying to add a quicktime plugin. I never add anything. If I can't play the file directly I'll just skip it. arcadani Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 I have run the links on three different computers and two servers with protection by Kaspersky and they just link to a rubbish porno, if you are being redirected you have already picked up the link from a bad connection not caught by your current internet security program.
