Something did change, we went from a free, outdated, and poorly supported forum software that had several existential issues, to the latest version of one of the best forum softwares on the market. Policy wise, the only change is that that non-paid members now have more access than they did before. You are entitled to your opinion, and you are free to leave. This is not a change in policy. On the old site non-paid members were not able to see ANY attachment (videos, images, etc.) uploaded directly to the site. Now you are able to see image attachments as a non-paid member. It is and always has been completely up to the up-loader where they choose to upload their images.

I think people are still trying to adjust to the new layout. Again this is nothing new, and actually you are getting more for "free" now because you can view image attachments, which you couldn't do before.

It is entirely up to the generosity of other members where they choose to upload videos. This has been in place for more than two years.

This is not a new feature. It was like this on the old forum... You can still download attachments from third party hosts. The video file that you see above is being hosted by CamCaps.

I believe this issue has been fixed. The issue only appeared when you logged in, so people would have been able to see it when they first visited the site prior to logging in.

I have removed the limit on likes. You can like as many things as you want.

You are not listed as a paid member. If you have previously paid, please PM me the email address that you paid with.

I have removed the limit on the number of up and down votes. You can rate as many posts as you see fit.

This is not an option. Just hang in there, we are still trying to fine tune things.

There is no replacement for it currently. It was a specialized mod for the old forum software. I am working on having a replacement developed.

Ah, the issues is that you're not a paid member. Like before you need to be a paid member to download attachments.

Where are you trying to view the video? Can you provide a link?

Can you be more specific? Are you unable to see any images or just attachments? Is there a particular board that you are having trouble with?

The site will remain available until the end of the month. No one should be posting to the old site, it's up for reference and backup purposes only.

Nothing is permanently lost. I will re-enable the old site so that you can find what you're looking for. This is all part of the process and why I didn't perform the upgrade on the old server. And unfortunately there was no good way for me to verify that every last image transfered correctly. This upgrade was not optional, it was really a do or die kinda thing.
