i agree completely, but the only way to get around that infringement, would be to mute all the mics and that wouldn't be a very pleasant experience for members or non-members. There may even be some leniency in the copyright law for music and TV in that type of situation. IDK. Because they're in a different country, we're talking about inter- national copyright law, not US law. I could be wrong, but I don't believe they can use our own copyright law against us. I'm presuming you live in the US. If not, please disregard what I said about the US.

I wanted to see what "Rants and Flame Wars" was all about, so I randomly clicked on this thread and I had to smile at a couple of the posts I read. Like this one: " Piracy is real problem and the lack of respect for those who take the time to post both pictures and videos is despicable." But, the people who take the time to post those pictures and videos originally to CamCaps, are the ones who pirated the media from RLC in the first place. It's like saying, "There's no honor among thieves," or like, "The pot calling the kettle black." Or, like this post: " RLC violates copyright all the time. Every time they broadcast one of tenants watching tv, playing music, or show a logo." RLC can't violate their own copyright, if they are the ones broadcasting the media. They are the owners of the copyright, so they can broadcast whatever they want, without any copyright infringement. They may need to get their tenants' permission, but they still own the copyright to the media. Don't get me wrong. I applaud and greatly appreciate and highly respect all the people who take the time and go to the trouble and run the risk of posting all those pictures and videos, as I'm sure do all the other members of this forum. And I think RLC should realize they can't do much to stop it. It's going to happen one way or another. But, it is a wonderful form of advertising for them, no matter what they think or do.

Huso, Hiddenwood, Happy, you guys sure are posting some great pics. I especially like the funny faces. Unfortunately, they're being taken down almost as fast as you can post them. Is that a copyright issue or is Tinypic taking them down for a different reason?

I REALLY like Irma and Polya is a lot of fun, too. Unfortunately, five of the videos about them that corboblanc posted just last Wednesday on MAB, are no longer available. He doesn't remember which ones they were, because he just threw them up haphazardly. He suggested that maybe one of you guys, or girls, might be kind enough to re-share them, please. I would greatly appreciate it if someone would. They are the last two videos on page one and the first three at the top of page two in this video thread. Thank you if you would.

Chip, In most cases I would agree with you, the exception being if you're going to crop the original video. If I understand the way resolution works, if you start with an original at 1080p and crop it in half, for example, you're going end up with a second generation video with better resolution than if your original is 720p and you crop that in half. On the other hand, recording a 720p stream at 1080p, may not give a better resolution to start with. What do you think, Chip?

I sure hope this is just temporary, for maybe a costume like Lady Godiva or something, because that is just hideous. Maybe the finished result will look better. She looks so much better with straight hair. IMHO

Actually, I see at least two possible explanations. I'm sure other people will come up with more. The most reasonable possibility that I see is the glass doors are open a little bit more or closed a bit more from one picture to the other, causing a different reflection to be seen in each picture. The other possibility is the entire unit has been moved off center a bit, also causing different reflections to show in the glass.

I agree with you completely, but I'm a bit confused. I didn't think Vika even liked Irma, let alone want to screw her, figuratively speaking. Is this an attempt at some intimidation technique or did something change between them while I wasn't watching?

I suspect that you are not a stupid man and that you very well know I was not referring to your answer of 'STONE COLD'. Throughout my childhood, my Grandmother would regale me with all kinds of old sayings. One that I remember her telling me was, "If you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all."
