I have no problem with American food that is traditionally from mother countries, for instance Italian, Chinese, French and some of the Cajun dishes, but apart from that steak and fries and hot dogs are the same anywhere in the world.

Don’t knock things until you’ve tried them…Eels are very high in certain vitamins. I have at least tried pancakes and syrup, peanut butter and jam, and even grits…..

Knocks the shit out off pancakes and syrup accompanied by rashers of bacon, or peanut butter and jam sandwiches……Yeh! You lot have some room to be critical..

The eels were not for breakfast they were for lunch!

If you’re talking toast, buttered with just salt and pepper……British Breakfast…Egg, bacon, beans, bubble and squeak, black pudding and fried bread, accompanied by a huge mug of good quality tea. Then the cockney delicacy Jellied eels, or pie and liquor. Days food intake sorted!

I can’t comment on what occurred this week as I don’t watch anymore, but do you honestly believe that people would continue to subscribe to watch her do nothing all day, whether with company or not….not for long I don’t imagine, with the exception of a few die-hards. Although I don’t see I can read, and most of what I read was people urging her to make a move on the other woman, wishing she could break down some barriers, that’s how she gets top spot most times…..The illusion that something may happen, casting the bait waiting for the viewers to take it , which they always do. …All smoke and mirrors, whilst exploiting the viewers weaknesses. She is the consummate professional.

She could show some enthusiasm and interest in what she does, after all that’s originally what made her so appealing to so many people. She now shows complete disinterest most of the time, which then in its turn can cause the viewer to reciprocate with the same indifference

I most certainly am not converting, I have always been my own man with my own opinions…Please or offend I tell it as I see it, others might not agree and I respect that.

Each person has their own reasons for watching her and I have always respected that. I used to find her compulsive viewing, she was like a magnate to me, but being truthful she did a lot more in those days. I had been looking at her in a different light for several months last year, it became rather like stopping smoking in the end. She is an above average looking woman, not striking but attractive, with a very good body, who when she wants to can stop traffic…the trouble was to my mind those occasions became rarer. It also become apparent that her attitude toward her audience changed and that we were lucky she bothered with us at all, but to keep the pay cheques rolling in she started giving the absolute minimum for maximum adulation, she was playing her audience like an old fiddle as far as I was concerned, which made her no different or better than any other camera girl. I therefor decided at the end of November to terminate my membership, which ran its course and eventually finished January 3… I have no regrets at all and in my mind did the right thing…considering I was getting no more pleasure from watching the same thing recycled for the umpteenth time. Again, this is just my point of view, and in no way to be misconstrued as a character assassination of Leora..I respected her too much for that. I also accept that other people have an entirely different point of view and reason for watching her.

I wouldn’t particularly call her lazy, but certainly apathetic. I don’t expect or wish for people to agree with me, as stated it is purely my view and the reason I ceased my RLC membership.

But unfortunately from my perspective the occasional dutiful quick bate is not enough. Its reminiscent of “ Wham bang, thank you ma’am “ She has to ME become boring, predictable and entitled. Just my opinion, and as far as I’m concerned an honest remark.
