Agreed. It's usual for a normally healthy and attractive young couple in love to engage in some kind of sexual behaviour - if not actual sex - on a daily basis. Definitely issues in that department. I can't believe Paul no longer finds her attractive, so assume he is avoiding intimacy because it's stressful for him to be observed as he consistently under-delivers. The flip side to that is, as a lot of Leora's self-concept is wrapped up in her appearance, his apparent lack of interest would be undermining her confidence and pushing her to test whether she is still attractive to other men.
