They probably set an IP address for the paid user and you don't match it. But what would a person do if they were a paid subscriber and traveled using a multitude of IP's for the host where that person is? I still say I'd rather give the money here. It's a lot more fun.

It's either the phone or I need an iPad or other netbook type unit and then let the phone be the hotspot for whatever it is that I buy. I can get stuck sitting for hours to either load or unload. My phone is too valuable a tool to me to have it munged up with malware and all sorts of cookies.

Placing someones IP out in public isn't right, unless it's your own.

I like that idea for online stuff. I have a Visa that has a preset limit that I use for only online purchases and nothing else. Should I need more, I call them, give the info of the item and tell them this is the only item to be approved. It works great. I did the same thing with Bill Me Later from PayPal. Put a $50 limit on it and when needed, you contact them and give the needed info to make the purchase that you want. A bit of a pain in the ass, but today? Worth it.

Yeah. It's porndoink or some shit like that. I had to install malwarebytes to get rid of the pup they put on my phone. So now I don't use this forum to stop boredom when I'm at work stuck. Not knocking Admin, but since the membership inception and the board splitting up, there have been some ads here that want to flat out take over your computer. It was fun guys and gals, but I'll be very non-existent around here. The membership funds should more than cover the costs of running the board. If not, then it should be made fully a private club and the free-loaders dumped. The ads need to be put in the trash, just like the ones that come in the mail.
