The only way to stop these huge companies is to simply quit buying their products. This junk is just thrown together by people that don't give 2 shits about it. They want their paycheck and lunch break. I will keep repairing my vehicles as needed. Spending $5000 on a transmission sure beats spending $100,000 for some junk that will live at the dealer shop more than in my driveway. America is a throw-away society. It breaks, buy a new one. Not me. I have tools older than most people on this forum and they work just fine. If I can't fix it, it can't be fixed, unless it's a computer, TV or some other electronic gadget. I quit working for Cadillac when they told me I had to spend thousands of dollars on electronic diagnostic equipment. Now, mechanics are computer geeks.

I have many, many Harbor Freight tools. I've been using them for years with no issues at all. My DeWalt drill long passed. The HF replacement is still going like new. The Daytona 3 ton and 5 ton jacks, still work perfectly after at least 20 years. For the Do-It-Yourself person, this is an excellent store. No one follows you around asking if you would like to see a better product or buy a different tool. If you need help, ask and they point you to where you need to be. I hate to say it, but I bought 6 American flags on sale for $9. Home Depot sells the exact same flag for $40. The $40 flag lasts about 6 months. The $9 HF flag is still flying a year later. I never take them down unless there is a hurricane coming. I keep one on my home and one on my business. Say what you want about HF, but I'll continue to shop there.

But, like all the rest of the fraud cases, nobody will do anything about it. If they do, they'll spend millions on trials and say that the defendants will get life life in prison, but they'll go home to their families like nothing ever happened. Remember their political names. Demoncrats and Republican'ts. Both are as useless as tits on a bull.

That is part of the public right of way. No homeowner can be assessed maintenance on a public thoroughfare. The homeowner is responsible for anything behind the public easement. If that easement is landscaped with sod, it is in the owners best interest to keep it maintained. Otherwise the rest of the property looks like shit.

I go a year on the outside with meats and fish that are vacuum sealed and stored in -10F temperatures. Never an issue. Some of the stuff they were opening up should have gone out when it did expire. The way I eat, it doesn't have a chance to expire.

We definitely need to step back 30 years mechanically and make things that work and are affordable. Paying $4000 for a washer and $100,000 for an automobile just isn't reality for 90% of people. I just keep repairing my 20 year old stuff when and if it breaks. I even welded patch panels on my lawnmower where the deck was starting to rust. Paying $500 for a simple push mower is crazy!

I remember all of that stuff and quite fondly. We even had one of those crank style lawn mowers. They worked good until they got a little wear on them, then the frustration level to get them started made you quickly trash it.

These Bots have destroyed 3 of the 6 forums that I haunt. You click your shortcut and nothing until you get the time out screen or the forum finally opens. From there, you click a topic and again, the same thing. @StnCld316 has figured out a way to shut them all down, but I'm sure that the Admins are freaking because they MAY BE potentially locking out perspective new members. What these Admins don't realize is, they are alienating the current members to the point where they don't even want to bother with the forum anymore. I gave up on 2 of them, simply because just like the government of the US, they would rather protect the illegals over their paid members.

I didn't do too bad. I've been to 8 out of the 13 places listed. Mainly because of what I did for work with and for the Military.

They can ALL rot right back into the ground before I'll buy one. Vehicle manufacturers can go the way of Spirit Airlines for all I care.

That's a real good possibility about the panty shots. It was an every day occurrence. Weekends and night were the best. There was always some horny little girl that liked truck drivers. Like you, we all worked in gas stations as kids. It was a right of passage. If a pretty girl or a car load of them came in, the entire staff was out there making sure they got the full service that they wanted. It was usually completed with a couple of joints and a few lines back behind the building. We'd rotate watching the front. Those of us that are 60 and up, we lived through the best years of being a child, teen and an adult.
