Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Soy_Fan's topic in Nora, Kamila, & Kristy (11/21/14 - 09/07/15)
Actually, I thought they were VLIR or Shoko captures, not VK. I forget things in my old age. But not everything. Anyway, they're old picts, and PostImage nukes everything quickly now days. So sad. We've got to come up with $12 for your CC membership so your stuff doesn't disappear so quickly. But your posts in their short lives did prove my point that she knows her way around a turntable at a time in history when most kids don't know what a record player even looks like, and even fewer know what the Wild West of Usenet was about, and government's control of the Internet and DMCA would have led to massive revolts from their subject populaces. -

What happened to the Pics thread?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to a topic in Leora & Paul (06/28/13 - 06/19/19)
Nothing happened to the legitimate Leora & Paul pictures thread. That one is Split 2, and it's fine. A newbie started a new picture thread with ordinary pictures by the name "Leora and Paul" pictures. Against the rules, but no one noticed. Other posters added about 4 pictures that were all deleted by PostImage.org almost immediately, so the thread was pretty useless. Then another newbie posted some nice "personal" pictures of Leora that were pulled from way-outside RLC. Fine for little squirrel, she's so pretty. But then, a flood of violation reports came in from seasoned veterans. Their reports were valid enough. But yet, our posting rules are undefined for both newbies and veterans. So, with only two ordinary pictures panty pictures posted, about 6 other pics already deleted by PostImage (DMCA), and two highly controversial "private" pictures, and no discussion, I deleted the stupid thread. The captures can be recovered. But we need to set some limits and rules. It's not the same Internet world. READ and provide your input about this thread: (The Web Link is No Longer Accessible and has been Removed), -
OK, I'll relent. But only because I'm willing to deal with the complexity of the person who originated this thread:

I can already see that this new category to CamCaps is going to be extremely successful. That's a good thing. :) -
I'll add this. The songs were not written by Americans. But I believe they "took sides" on this one...
-
My cousin: To this day, I have not met another American who did not enjoy visits to France. Many of us Americans have French ancestors. I can name mine. Just put this on as background music. It's a long piece, but worthy of the time. Especially on a good sound system.

RLC Needed Rules
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to LongDuckDong's topic in Nora, Kamila, & Kristy (11/21/14 - 09/07/15)
LongDuckDong: There is nothing wrong with your post. It is acceptable and should stand. I'm pissed off today, sick of this shit infighting between certain members, I've lost a best buddy, and I'm seriously considering chewing up radiator hoses, emptying bird feeders, and trashing attics if FUCKWITS don't start behaving like adults on this forum. RLC is fucking what it fucking is, dammit, and CC is not a goddamn /b site ripe for the continuing bullshit infantile behavior. This is an honest post. Respect the poster and its honest respondents. If you can't, then fuck off. Jack-off posts are ruining CC, we're losing the best contributors and gaining no new ones because of this incessant attack troll shit. LongDuckDong: I'm BACK ON TOPIC! Amazing! Short answer: RLC doesn't care. Because we're free advertising for RLC. But do not fool yourself: RLC people are here. And some of them are really cute. -
I figured you'd get a chuckle out of that one. Unfortunately, I didn't keep my baseball card collection, and I failed to secure shares of Google when it was privately traded. That's two grievous errors on my part, but I was a great right fielder when the ball was not hit in my direction. I was proud and somewhat surprised that my three sons were so good at it. Maybe I'll be a lucky as an old man, and they'll buy shares on a private placement for the next Future Google., and support me in my old age. Of course, one of the kids has a butt load of original Magic cards. Hummmm...
-
Yes, and if you know the game, you've got a mint collection of bubblegum cards of every individual who played on that team and every other team they played with. And these cards are worth a fortune now. It's kinda like having the first Don Drysdale card: same thing as owning private placement shares of Google at $2 per share. I'm kinda sorta partial to certain teams, but only because they had exceptional people that inspired their fellow team members to be exceptional. I don't think it's necessarily more difficult to hit a home run than it is to catch it when your back is slammed against the wall, whilst stadium light blind you, and end the damn game right there when you catch it. It's a great game.

My goodness, you have posted a very nice post here. It is also a concept, and though it's about a sport, it's pretty interesting for other people, meaning those who do not know anything about baseball, can easily learn to understand. Start here: 1) Yes, it's a team sport, but it's not a team sport. It's not like futbol (soccer), football, volleyball, or basketball. It's about an individual human trying to beat difficult odds. 2) You can root for a batter to do well, even if that player is on the opposing team. 3) You can root for a pitcher to do well, even if that pitcher is on the opposing team. 4) Baseball is about singular individuals doing exceptionally well. It's an Ancient Greek concept, but it pervades modern American baseball. Baseball is a transcendent sport. And, despite baseball's occasional marketing woes, it staggers a fan's mind when a player tries to hit a small ball hurled toward them at 90 mph (144.84 kph). 5) You will not find any boy who has ever watched this sport who did not day-dream about hitting that last home run to win the World Series.

Visitor couple look beautiful
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to van the man's topic in Nina & Kira (10/20/14 - 06/19/19)
Yeah, I believe there was a thread about this awhile back. It sucks that all their guests use that shower instead of the tub. RLC will never do anything about it though. Their guests are not part of RLC, are they? Nina and Kira use the tub all the time. What do you want RLC to do? Go in and rebuild the bathroom and eliminate the shower stall? Actually, Snaky, that is exactly what we'd like to see RLC do. Great engineering idea, there, Snaky, especially if these two delicious fur-traders come by to visit on a regular basis! :P -

I thank you kooloos for posting excellent captures. I thank others for posting information and comments, while staying on topic and respectful to others regarding RLC tenants. I know that's difficult for some people who are about to see their flame wars removed by one pissed-off squirrel and shoveled to the proper thread (if not up their ass), but it's important to keep CamCaps about CamCaps, and not about 4chan/b. In the old days, there would have been many pictures posted of this long-haired beauty, and someone would probably suggest or ponder what she did for a living, what her talents were, etc., etc., and some of it would be utter bullshit: but some would be fascinating and turn out to be REAL facts. I guarantee this girl, if posted in more captures, would have a CC fan base of loyal drooling worshipers quickly if we could see more of her. It certainly worked for Mighty Mouska, Vika, the Unknown Spanish Queen, and the Girl in the Red Dress;and even the Unknown Queen showed up for only one night, fully clothed at A&S's place and she was a drop dead goddess, anyway. Guests are important, too, and are a fundamental part of RLC: especially if they're hot and uninhibited. :P -
Chinese laundries were for cleaning the dirt out of clothes, Woo's pigs were for cleaning the "cocksuckas" out of the town. Maybe Admin should bring in a pig mod or two, ya think? ;D

She did this type of work professionally in Barcelona nightclubs back when N&K lived at the old apartment. --- Ella hizo este tipo de trabajo profesionalmente en clubes nocturnos de Barcelona de nuevo cuando N & K vivían en el viejo apartamento. -
Sorry guys, I've been out in the field. I show up at Juke Box, and I feel like I'm home again. Damn decent posts. Damn nice ballads, and wonderful songs we should all appreciate. Many posts ago, I was looking for an English song of the seas to match "City of New Orleans," suggesting that the Iron Horse made the US, whilst the tall ships made the British Empire. I couldn't find one. Thanks Woody for finding "High Barbaree." A ballad is a story, originally written about a great mythic hero or a god-king, and it evolved to became a song about common men. Here's a ballad (with lyrics) that is historically accurate, which I hope my distant friends appreciate.

What would you like to complain about?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to Admin's topic in Rants & Flame Wars
I have only five complaints: 1) Having to waste my time immediately banning people who post virus shit or crap like "dslkjfalksdfklj." I do this more than you could imagine. 2) Having people I consider to be wonderful friends and good members bitching at each other incessantly when other people just want to see pictures or learn about their favorite RLC goddesses. 3) Having people report other people because they disagree with them, and explaining to mods that that the reason for their report is "dslkijfalksdfklj," or "this language is really offensive to me." Well, fuck you, I say... 4) I don't care if anybody is gay, white, black, green, lesbo, transexual, commie, bigot, pissed off or "normal." I've had enough of this shit. I DO care if you are a millionaire, and are interested in bankrolling an entrepreneurial squirrel who wants to buy out a certain nightclub in Barcelona, however. Please PM me and we shall discuss details. 5) My last complaint would be that Paul has boarded up every dang hole I have made so I could crawl into bed with Leora when he's gone. What's a squirrel to do? And what can I do if I have competition from some skunk who I thought was originally my wingman? Must I, as a mod, arrange a diversionary tactic that seduces Scooter to defuse the wrathful attack of a Skunk so that I might gain entrance to the only beloved goddess of RLC? Life is full of such angst. -
Don't be fergetting, we gotta pay some dudes to bring up the sled... ;D

You echo facts of wisdom here, my friend. Some women go for jocks: football team captains; men of strength, men who can exert a force upon the physical world which others cannot. Some women go for musicians: they're so cool, they can play upon a woman's heartstrings. Some women go for writers, poets, and picnics in nature: men can move their emotions. But all women can be seduced by a man who can dance with them.

I think the cat is just looking at the thing going like "WTF is this? A T-51 Tank? Is Paul inside there, driving it for the Russian army? Can't Alina buy me something normal like a tweety-bird to hunt instead?" -
any news for alma ?
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to wwaaww12233's topic in Alma & Stefan (03/13/13 - 07/03/14)
Nope. Not his style. Oddly, I actually agree with him on this. Her saving grace was that she could fuck like a bunny when she wasn't playing with five-finger-discount cosmetics, and I&M climbed walls when they did it. That couch hasn't been the same since. I noticed that Veronica and Lucas never go near it. -
The damn thing is a huge investment of time. It's best to own the DVDs and watch them in order, otherwise it's too difficult to remember wtf is going on. Waiting a week for the next episode is painful. I rented them and did the marathon treatment all at once over a couple of days and didn't get so lost in its complexity. I did, however, buy the Deadwood series, which was also an excellent production.

Current Events in the News (commentary)
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to KarenKraft's topic in Worldwide Political Discussions
The ManBearPig episode has apparently been pulled from YouTube and Southparkstudios.com. It's only available on Hulu Plus. Dammit. It was a parody featuring the illustrious Al Gore warning us of the danger of ManBearPig. It's hilarious, and hit the nail on the head when it comes to man-made global warming paranoia.
