The Almighty Obama told you to stay subjects of the EU, so Biden must follow his leadership. President Harris and Xi would demand the same. Personally, I don't like these oafs running my life or yours, but they have even LESS rights when telling the people of the UK what to do about fuckin' anything! Geeze...and now please pass the fish and chips...😋

What percentage of dead people in the past year actually died of Covid? I mean to say, old people usually die of the usual seasonal flu, which turns into CHF, which then turns into pneumonia (a common way to die). And it is listed as "Covid" now because hospital payments are much easier to procure. And we know that beyond old age, obesity is the primary death factor. Of "races" -- an entirely artificial concept -- the death lines precisely follow the obesity rates. These rates, in order for my nation, African-American ancestry, Hispanic-Amerasian ancestry, European ancestry and finally Asian ancestry. How about that? The fucking virus is a goddamn racist! I mean, for Christ's sake, we must follow the science, and we're all gonna die from it, aren't we? So what's the fuss? Wear a couple masks, avoid other people, shut down your business, profession, career or job, and just sit and watch TV until the damn virus quits mutating sometime in the middle of next week. Me, hell, I'm just watching cool sci-fi movies: you know, the one where the virus escapes from the lab and kills people by making them enraged... (Anybody who says that I'm cold and cruel about this will get slapped in the face. I personally know this situation from personal experience better than the politicians do.)

Thanks to StnCld and his band of terrorist Canadians who sent their weather through the US to Texas, all of the Texas windmills froze solid, removing a valuable chuck of energy power. As usual, I blame Canada. 🙃- 26 replies

Happy Birthday, too. Back to pizza: I can do the sauce from scratch using home grown tomatoes when possible and it's excellent. I have discussed this pizza issue many times with pizza experts, and have decided that the secret (beyond the meat and cheese, which is extremely important) is in making the proper crust, and making it properly. I can always bake a good loaf of bread, but a dependable pizza crust is an elusive art. Some of this is because crust is such a matter of personal taste and texture. For example, for myself, I don't like thin hard crust. I also don't like floppy, soggy, bread-like crust. To me, the crust of a pizza is like an aircraft carrier; a surface that is resilient enough to chomp into; a structure that is stable; and a surface the works as a flight deck for your wonderful topping ingredients. I'm also picky. It must be served with decent beer or hearty red wines. (I've had a good calamari dinner exactly once in my long life. All other attempts were chewy and disappointing. Cooking that stuff requires an expert. Same with alligator. TIA for any hits on what's going on with that stuff...)

Send me a virtual case of this ale in PM's. I can't find it in stores anywhere in the States. But I can still pretend! 😔

I could not get a "chippy" wrapped in newsprint in 2003. Supposedly newspapers are toxic, although I know as a fact that nearly all printing ink in the US, and probably GB is soy or other vegetable oils. No longer fossil fuels. Yet another great British custom has been destroyed. 😥 Alas, times change. I was also told that an American tourist should not drink too much of the pub ale when visiting, because it was strong. Due to taxation on alcohol content, I found the ales very nice and refreshing, and not nearly as potent as American craft brews. They were mostly damn near buzz-proof. I really enjoyed it, anyway, and decided that the ales were very fun and the fish & chips were better than 90% of North America's. I got a British-made IPA called "Spitfire" finally -- excellent -- but that was in the duty-free section of the airport. (Having brewed beers, my favorite beer has been Theakston's Old Peculiar. I could not replicate it with my equipment. It's awesome. It's peculiar. It should be the UK's national beer. A pint of that and an order of chippy would be just fine. But for god's sake, learn how to make coffee. In return, I'll teach my people how to brew a good cup of tea. I promise. 🙃 )

Actually, I don't. However, if any of you have a good recipe for peanut butter cookies, I'm open to suggestions. Got to make them for grandma's cookie jar so the grand kids know I'm still alive. Grandma's cookie jar is an American custom of which you might not understand. As for the comments about Italian style food: whatever nationality your are, try to always use home grown Roma tomatoes. Visiting England is all about judging ales and fish & chips, of course.

Sadly, this is now the only forum I can speak about political issues without being cancelled or investigated illegally by the IRS or harassed by black clothed storm troopers at the doorstep. As they said in the old days, "I'm behind seven proxies." At least people in this thread are free to discuss politics. For now.

We Mods are just members. We are not paid. We all have real lives, and work part-time to keep the fucking forum from turning into 4chan.org/b. I would much rather moderate 4chan.org/b. If I get one more fucking post that I need to hide that is off-topic, all hell will be unleased. Got it? For you members who are just trying to talk about Leora & Malia, there seems to be a food fights among members who should know better. I do what I can, when I can. STAY FUCKING ON TOPIC! Any more shit and this thread will be locked and offending members will get to sit on the time out chair. All of them.

Reminder: this is not the Food Fight thread. It's a Leora thread. Off Topic comments will be hidden, and perpetrators will be bitch-slapped.

Leora & Paul - Pictures #3
Foamy T. Squirrel replied to crocodile dundee's topic in Leora & Paul (06/28/13 - 06/19/19)
Actually, we have some legal protections. We don't actively censor free speech; what you post is your responsibility, and CC is not responsible. We're not Facebook. We're not Twitter. We're not propagandists. My files were destroyed, but I like Leora and I hope she has a nice life. The fact that anyone has her depictions categorized and can find them is fuckin amazing. Ten points for you, Mark, and definitely Crocodile Dundee. Keep up the good work: she's still the Goddess here.
