    They never broke up Ash. They are still fond of each other and once Nina has finished her convalescence she will be back. her illness was undiagnosed for 1.5 years and took quite a toll. She lived away with her Mum to be nearer to the medical staff. It was quite a treat to see her again. Alan will always be a bit of a slob whilst Nina is away. She is good for him.

    A year ago I would have agreed with you but since then we have seen the emergence of a 'saintly' George. All very puzzling.

    On these occasions they tend to take their cue from George but as far as I can see he has spent most of the evening as bar tender and waiter. I have to say that the group is looking slightly ill at ease tonight. If anything outrageous does happens it will be George and Jules working together.

    One aspect that perhaps we take for granted is the excellence of the cams and the lighting here. Facial expressions are clear and colours vibrant, especially that iconic bed settee. You would think that other apartments would seek to imitate it.

    It's when you see a new site for the first time. First impressions are very important. I can usually tell within this time whether I am interested enough in the occupants to continue watching or not, or to put it another way I can usually tell quite easily if I am not likely to be as interested as I would be as compared with my favourite apartments.

    I was thinking the same thing. The departure of Nina, Herman and Lola were I think body blows to VH plus all the incoming cammers. Few of the new apartments nowadays pass my five second test. Tempted to give subscription a rest for a while to see whether or not the problem is that my pleasure receptors have become jaded. I would not blame Melissa for becoming jaded. She must yearn for a life away from the cams.

    Its a bit of a mystery why George the Manager has been as patient as he has with Nina's long illness. It is rather noble of him. The most likely theory is that he or Alan owns the apartment so there is no issue with landlords or leases or rent income or lack of. Fact is that Nina was the motivator when this place had three people living in it in its heyday. If she does not come back then there will probably be changes of the kind you suggest.
