Same here. IT SHOWS. I own two businesses, and I swear I will NEVER hire someone that have visible tattoos, or, MOST IMPORTANT: something that signifies their beliefs. PERIOD. It is insulting, it is permanent and it is STUPID. Do it at home, in your circle, but not in public. Business = public, in any area you work.
