    Just when I was about to comment that Nina has remained quite stable since moving to VH, lo and behold she has an almost classic Nina Meltdown™. But - as usual - Kira, the one with a medical situation - comforts her. It's been over 4 months since she had a Nina Meltdown™ so she must have had that bottled up inside her for awhile. Although not as scary or extreme as the former Kitty Fits™ on RLC, Nina Meltdowns™ can still be unsettling to watch. All appears well now, though, and Nina is practicing on the piano with headphones so as to not disturb her sleeping guardian angel. 😇 The stage may have changed, but the players remain the same.

    Okay Amy, I selectively blocked you before, but this comment was very well stated. I admit, your description of Nina in your previous post was completely accurate - I could not find any part to dispute. But your recognition of Kira as the heart and soul of this union is great. That's all I ever wanted you to do.

    Hey, don't be prejudiced LOL. Some of us had to rely on dial-up for the longest time, like me, until they finally installed DSL out my way. Nowadays my nightmares consist of hearing the "beepboopbeepbeepboopka-CHING....ksssshhhhhCHING" in my sleep. It's horrible.

    Makes me wonder about Nina's отец or father. When he and her мама visit, he appears as though he is retired, given Nina's age, but perhaps not, given these ruble conversions. And I have no definite proof, but I have no doubt he provides a small stipend to support his daughter and her dreams. Almost makes me a little humble with my 22 acres of land, complete with house, barn, truck bay, shelter, and range. I can't imagine what just ONE acre of property would cost in SPB. Then again, they are in the city. And city life ain't for me.

    0530, they are finally home. Kira, as usual, whips up a quick snack of chopped veggies with perhaps a tzatziki sauce? I sure hope there is no work tomorrow, but she looks okay this morning. It sounds like they are watching a humorous Russian soap opera.

    What the hell? I hit the road for a week and come home to find my baby girl is ill? I'm never leaving you all in charge again! Seriously though, this is very bizarre and unsettling. I do not like seeing Kira like this, and it has been a long time since the last time I have, which was back on RLC. @jouandomy what do you mean by "intervention"? I hope you mean something different than what intervention means here in the USA. I am very worried 😟

    Welcome! It's about time you got here! Glad to know I was the catalyst to get you onboard - or perhaps it was the ghosts LOL. Interesting theories from you and @letsdothis but still just as much of a mystery. And yes, the mic volume at VHTV is incredible, where RLC's mic volumes totally sucked, I could barely hear anything, even with headphones. Headphones definitely not needed here.

    Ahhh, I see it better now. The best view I had last night was through night vision, and while VHTV's night vision is superior to RLC's, it's still not great LOL, so I just assumed it was Fawn. Thanks for the clarification!

    Another interesting moment tonight... Kira sleeping on the right, Nina sleeping on the left. This rarely ever happens, except once in a Russian blue moon. Kira also went through the whole place and closed all the windows; bedroom, kitchen, living room, guest room, and put an extra blanket on Fawn's bed. Smart and thoughtful, considering it's 40 deg/4.4 cels in St Pete right now. Brrrr.... Shitty forecast for the rest of the week for them, too. It's almost getting as bad here in Virginia, but I haven't fired up the pellet stove just yet.

    FYI, Fawn is sleeping over tonight. Life is good. Should be an eye-opening Wednesday morning 😀 Now I want to get a little weird on you all. Earlier today I was scrolling through replay, and at 19:53 (on 10/8) I heard this weird sound. I've heard weird sounds in their empty apartment before, but nothing like this. The sound is most audible in the kitchen and living room cams, less so in the bedroom or guest room cams but still noticeable. It sounds like one of two things - heavy furniture being shoved across the floor, or a dog retching and puking. Or a third option, a demon from hell expressing his disapproval of the girls being away. I vote for option 3, altho Butch and Sundance don't seem to hear it/affected by it. Just listen on 10/8 from 19:53 to 19:54, start in the kitchen cam 1, then try cams 2, 3, and 4. Let me know what you all think it is. Meanwhile, here is a nice shot of Fawn's lovely bootay snoozing soundly.

    Yup, I'm starting to think it is stuffed, like the shark pillows and Sugar Duck. Just odd that they would keep a stuffed watermelon pillow in the kitchen. But then again, this is Russia.

    You should have seen them back in the day in their RLC hovel. They assembled and fixed all kinds of stuff, but the most impressive feat was when they replaced the carpet in the bedroom. They tore out the old carpet and installed the new carpet all within a 24 hour span. And it looked great when they were done! I was very, very impressed, to say the least. The funniest part, though, was when Nina stumbled across a teeny little spider in the corner, and she screamed like a girl LOL. Fearless Kira had to come rescue her damsel in distress and slay the vicious beast - with her foot. Who knew? Tough-talking tough-acting Nina can be reduced to tears from an itsy bitsy spider LOL. It was quite the humorous and charming little incident. They are quite the dynamic duo working together. Assemble furniture, install carpet, and slay vicious beasts! Hey @West_California it appears as though they are building a permanent domicile for the watermelon? 😄

    ...also, is it just me? Or do Kira's feet seem really large? I wear an American 11W in Laredo. It looks like Kira could fit comfortably in my crocodile boots. Not that I have an issue with big feet. I'm not a foot-fetish guy by any means, so I couldn't care less if she had ballet feet or Godzilla feet. It's just an interesting observation. 😉
