I didn't want to turn this into a Win8 thread, but I have to say that you are wrong...technically. Sure, RT is out. It's already been replaced by RT8.1 and that will be upgraded soon to join it with Win8 Phone. A person with an original RT tablet can...and should...take advantage of the updates. But, the fact is, most of the "Metro" apps are being developed as being compatible with RT-type tablets as well as tablets and other devices (PC, laptop, etc.) that can run the full version of Win8.1. The lesser RT-type devices won't be going away and will receive full support by MS and app developers.

Okay...I've just seen something on ww.com that I've never seen before.
