I think at one time George expressed an interest in Nina but that died when Serena came on the scene. conversely, George doesn't have enough sense not to screw the help so who knows. I think this bit of drama is between Serena and Nina although I don't what it is about. I did notice both George and Alan tried to shy away from it. Moreover, I think Nina questioned how George calculated the pay for the period too. I noticed her figuring in the bedroom and then talking to George by the sink with her figures.
