Arkay2 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Not the normal post you find here but given that the 'White Nights' Festival is just starting in St Petersburg here is some film of the 'Scarlet Sails' celebration in 2017 with some calm relaxing music (until nearer the end). The 'Scarlet Sails' event in 2018 is being held this Sunday 27 May and is to mark the end of the school year and celebrate those students graduating. A huge firework display and open air concert takes place with a red sail rigged tall ship sailing the Neva river to symbolise passage into adulthood. This is just part of a much larger range of events for the overall 'White Nights' festival. 1 Quote
