Amy rest easy even if there is cancer they can handle it and you will be fine --I had a big tumor in mine and they removed 75% of it 40 years ago-----In 2017  I went through 29 radiation treatments for cancer in my vocal cords and it fried the remaining 25% , but it killed the cancer so far --Two months ago they replaced my aortic heart valve with no problem--Modern medicine is great and it gets greater every day

Thx sr71! You know what I'm going through even more. I think my day is coming it's just a matter of time. They say if you have to get cancer, get thyroid cancer. I'm hopeful. ❤️

It sounds like you have stayed right on top of yours and the earlier they catch it the easier it is to eliminate it-- How are your T3 and T4 levels in your blood? If they are out of wack because of some malfunctioning due to those nodules that could be causing those symptoms you are having

I found out about the nodules about 5 years ago. The last biopsy was 3 yrs ago. Results were benign then. 2 of them have grown to over 2cm so another biopsy was ordered.

Symptoms? Well, fatigue mostly. Frequently, I literally feel like I'm going to faint. Difficulty swallowing and breathing. Like there is something stuck in the bottom of my throat. Funny, I have this thing where I think deepthroating will help expand my throat and make it easy to breathe. 😋

That really sucks, I know what feeling fatigued is like with my illness. Glad you stayed on top of it. Keep us all informed.

Free T4 and TSH are at the very low of normal. As long as the nodules are non cancerous and my thyroid is functional, I'll postpone the surgery. I guess my day is coming though.

I may query you at some point along the way. Glad to know you have some experience with this. Thx! ❤️

Even all the years ago i had 75% of mine taken out it was a piece of cake I was up walking around the hall right after waking up --The only pain i had was from a drainage tube they had in my throat that was placed wrong--Once that was fixed smooth sailing

Even if results are ok which they hopefully will be you should have them out Amy as its the size of them which is no doubt causing your breathing and swallowing problems being an obstruction. Keep us in the loop babe as we are all rooting for you.💜💜💜
