In general, Lia seems to be a bit more dominant, and Mia a bit more follower. I have know five sets of twins in my real life (one identical girls, one identical boys, two non-identical girls and one boy and girl). Of course they can, it's surprising it doesn't happen more often considering they spend pretty much their every waking (and sleeping) moment together.
