What is the benefit of hard work then to not get ahead ? Yours and Bernie's thinking is flawed in a capitalistic society. no, I do not believe in income equality. Bernie Sanders does not believe in it either. if you work hard you deserve to make more money and get ahead in life. if you listen to Bernie Sanders he is not talking about middle class or upper middle class who earn their money through hard work and merit. He often talks about the top 1% or even top 0.1% ( in other world billionaires and multi-millionaires) . and he wants them to pay their fair share of taxes which is more than what they pay now. last year Amazon paid 0 in taxes while his owner is the richest man in the world. how is it fair that the richest company in the world pays nothing in taxes where there are millions of kids in United states living in poverty and veterans sleep on the street in the richest nation of the world. what does it tell you about the richest country in the world that can not take care of its most vulnerable people.

How is he going to pay for Medicare for all, the Green New Deal, and payoff all student loan debt? Bernie may not call himself a Marxist, but his proposed policies prove he is. You say, "Bernie is "not"a socialist ", but then you say, "he defines himself as Democrat Socialist". So according to you Bernie calls himself a socialist, but he is not a socialist. Apparently you didn't learn much in your economics classes. And you are just repeating the bullshit you hear on CNN and MSNBC.

You are so brainwashed and ignorant. You sound like a liberal progressive parrot. Sound like an ignorant European or a typical brain dead American college student. If you are American, HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR YOUR FAIR SHARE IN INCOME TAX LAST YEAR? I'm a veteran and I don't sleep on the street. The vast majority of people who sleep on the street in the U.S. have mental or drug problems and refuse to sleep in shelters.

He has been very genuine and consistent throughout his life, you can go back and check his speeches from 40-50 years ago and you will find out he has been talking about the same issues all his life. he is very committed in what he believes in. He is still one of the least wealthy member of the congress. and he has earned his money from his best selling book. He is not against being successful or rich ( he never said that). he only wants rich people ( including himself) and big corporation pay their fair share of taxes. Define exactly how much "fair share" is. That is a meaningless term. What percentage of their income should the rich and corporations pay in income taxes? Again, HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY IN INCOME TAXES LAST YEAR?

With the way the federal government manages and spends money, the last thing we should ever do is give them more of our money to manage and spend. Only a fool would want to do that or someone like YOU who probably has never paid a penny of income tax in his/her entire life.

Then they would both have the national stage to themselves to reveal their ignorance and stupidity to all the American people.
