Talk about a band who changed. Earth And Fire (NOT Earth, Wind & Fire). If Leora, in another life, had been the singer in a Dutch band in the 70s, this is it!

Started as a Heavy pop band in Holland, heavier than Shocking Blue, scored loads of hits. Then completely changed in the late 70's, deciding to go Disco. Like a completely different band altogether. Indeed they were. Went shit basically! Fronted by the delicious Jerney Kaagman (Who now sadly has Parkinsons) and the incredibly talented identical twins Chris and Gerard Koerts. Not often a hit from this era has a full on guitar shredding solo! Great band (Back then anyway).

So much over the last couple of years about the return of ELO. Oh Jeff Lynne this, Jeff Lynne that. Well if it wasn't for Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne would still be playing in pubs in Birmingham. The whole ELO idea was his full stop. Here is the very first ELO line up, after their first album was made and ready for release - Still promoting The Move's last album in 1971.

Bev Bevan was a terrible percussionist.  I'm not backing off of the critique.

Listen to The Move Live at the Fillmore 1969 album, and you may change your mind.

Somebody mentioned percussion in this thread. This is percussion.
