Apart for 3 days and they look like they genuinely have missed each other. Yes, back when lockdown was on, they only had themselves and some 'familiarity breeds contempt' crept in, but look now, they dress identical because they choose to, buy and do the same things because they want to, and the 'shows' seem to really have more emotion attached. Again, not in any 'falling in love' aspect of course, we're not dumb, but a real feel of just wanting to please the other, basically a gift from one to the other. And tonight Leora gave that, looking as into what she was giving as much as she was getting back. It's just great to see, in fact, as friends, they are probably closer than ever. They really didn't think he was a threat to their power over Leora. That damn skunk and I cannot even get passports now days without a dam 14-day quarantine period. I blame the dam bear, even though he isn't a bear. Not genetically. Koalas are just fucking cute marsupials. They're 3rd World as far as we placentals are concerned. I want Leora and Malia to take up harp playing. That would give us something to talk about. Maybe they could get instructions from Anabel or Nelly. (Or Efim, but that's problematic for us veterans.) Somebody here, who possibly has contact with her, to tell her to get back to painting, god dammit! She was so much happier in the old days. Watching her paint, sew and making dolls did have a calming affect on us woodland creatures. If she ever took up the harp could you imagine the harmonious cheer of laughter as we all sit singing Kumbaya and dancing around the Goddess.
