Rather obvious now he was only sent home from hospital to spend his remaining time with his family, very sad though. Don't think he has been well for a long time but we shall never know i suppose.

Sincere condolences to all the family.

The funeral is on Saturday 17th April at 3 pm... limited to 30 people and it will be televised and a 1 minute silence will be observed.

He spent decades planning for his own funeral.  Covid denied him the privilege.  I watched the funeral; the bagpiper was sanguine, hopefully, as he strode out of sight.  A proper farewell.
