Sino-Soviet relation problems have existed for centuries, way before the US was formed. And although China cannot currently project military power over long distances, it could certainly wipe out Russia. Still, they play together. Well, kinda sorta. Truly, we have a weak president who supports socialism, but the comparison of a semi-capitalist constitutional nation with few people compared to a communist dictatorship deserves some examination.
