There was the sign he was coming back again. Thought she said she couldn't wait to get the apartment all to herself now? Notice too how she changed from shorts into a slip because she was warm? Funny thing is, never seen her have to keep for legs crossed as much! And in an ironic twist, he hardly paid her any attention for a lot of the night. After going to bed, woke to text a couple of times then stayed awake, staring at her phone, well after daybreak, still checking going on for 7am. She'd only had about an hour and a half sleep by then. Crazy. And this is all just one single day. What a life. Oh, and the chess set that he brought and Leora unboxed hasn't been used. Will he leave with it, was it a gift for her, or does it suggest at least yet another night?
