P.S. As space is short on my comp, I don't use apps that I don't need, unless they are portable.

On windows 10 the first button does that and you can save.

I use Sharex do to multiple screenshots that save automatically in a folder. I setup the program to name the screenshots with the date that they were made and a new folder every month. The program also records video. Is the most complete free program that I've found so far.

It seems I remember that's what happens when you use the Windows key + PrtScr keys, but he said he was only pressing the PrtScr key. I don't believe the PrtScr key by itself has the same effect.
