Too bad they didn't do that back in April when Putin had staged 70,000 troops on Ukraine's border.  It will be really difficult to get those weapons into Ukraine now that Russia controls the air over Ukraine and most of the highways and railways in Ukraine.

This is still an option-but it would affect other nations besides Russia.  The biggest problem IMO is the willingness of the US and other countries to still import goods from Russia. 

 

SWIFT ist die letzte Option, die Putin selbst kaum trifft, aber die russischen Menschen. Millionen von Deutsch-Russen leben in Deutschland - mit Familien in Russland und Kasachstan. Diese Menschen werden von Familien aus Deutschland mit Waren und Geld-Überweisungen unterstützt. Viele europäischen Firmen haben noch Forderungen an russische Firmen. Bei sofortiger SWIFT-Blockade wäre da nichts mehr möglich. Forderungen von geistlosen Rambo-Idioten. Alle Auslandskonten von Putin, Lawrow und vielen Oligarchen  in $ oder Euro wurden inzwischen gesperrt, das trifft die Verbrecher-Lumpen viel mehr. Putin hat bereits "Vergeltung" angekündigt.. Das heißt, ihm geht persönlich der Arsch auf Grundeis - und das ist gut so.

If Moscow had treated Ukraine and the other states of the Soviet Union better those nations may have never separated from the Soviet Union. It is because of past Russian dictators like Putin that the Soviet Union dissolved. People want to be free.

Sorry Baby, DU bist nur DUMM und hast politisch keine Ahnung und redest hier nur groben Unfug. Als das Sowjet-Imperium zerbrach war Putin kleiner KGB-Sekretär in der DDR. Gorbatschow und Jelzin waren für den Zerfall und die Neuordnung der Einzelstaaten verantwortlich. Litauen hat seine Freiheit mit Blutverlust erkämpft, Lettland und Estland folgten. Putin kam erst 10 Jahre später. Du hast keine Ahnung von europäischer Politik.
