hampelo Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 You know what really grinds my gears the fact that time and time again over the years I've see the same group of guys Snaky,Ozi,Hampelo,Kooloos and Buster harass and say nasty shit to people and nothing ever gets done to them, and now they basically feel invincible to being punished by the Mods or Adm,I wish that I or the other members can go a least a day without these guys constantly trolling and stalking people on CC,to read their comments and bitch and whine about others bitching and whining,it's so ass-backwards it's not even funny anymore. And on another note being at the atm drive-thru getting money and being surprised by a beggar at your passenger side window,has got to be one of the worst things ever!! and then they have the nerve to tell me that they know I got money because they can see the atm screen,and whenever I come back to that atm they will protect me whenever I come back there,needless to say I carry my gun in my lap whenever I go to an atm now 8) 8) wow. i have certainly got myself into some interesting company here. i thought i was reserving my negative comments for the particularly egregiously stupid things that are infrequently posted on this forum. apparently, that is not how it is perceived. that being the case, i voluntarily and without hard feelings, withdraw from this forum. happy posting :) :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You might want to work on the perception you give of yourself in your posts. "Babe,you know how hard it was for me to get a reservation at this place,you are taking too long to get ready,I don't want us to miss our window because they will give our table to someone else and I had planned a really wonderful and special night for both of us and we are gonna miss out,so can you please hurry up babe thank you" You see, two different ways of getting your points across without putting people down or insulting them while trying to make them see your point of view,how would they expect that I or any newbie on CC gonna listen to them when they talk to us the way they do,Snaky and I were cool and we never had no problems with each other until he called me a fuckwit because I posted a photo of kamila crying in the bathroom and I put a caption saying what I thought she was thinking....why are we even fighting over these girls that don't and never will know anyone of us is beyond me,if anybody says something negative about any of the women on Rlc and I defend her honor,is RLC gonna cut me a check,or is any of those girls gonna personally call or email me to thank me, I don't think so. You know what's really hypocritical and sad,is the fact that Snaky and his friends say that they are defending the women against attacks from the guys of CC,yet a lot of the CC members that they talk shit to are women members,I guess CC women members don't matter SMFH. The reason you were incompetent as a Mod is because you are no different than Ozi, Snaky and company. You resort to the same member insulting that they do, therefore, see no issue with them doing it (especially since they're part of your little Old Timers clique). There is no one moderating and making an effort to tone down the personal attacks (squirrel is at least trying, but unfortunately the damage is done), then you are surprised when it escalates to the point that it has. I cannot think of any other forum that I am a member of that wouldn't have kicked someone like Ozi to the curb months ago. He's referred to as a forum "veteran", (even though he's only been a member since last summer) but he adds zero value to the forum. He either berates others in the RLC sub-forums or posts racist crap in the off-topic sub-forums. At least Snaky, as annoying as he is, does occasionally contribute to the RLC topics. At this point the only way to get this place back to a friendly place where members can candidly discuss the good, bad and ugly of RLC without getting attacked by a limpdick internet tough-guy, is having the site Admin step-up and start lowering the tolerance level for personal attacks. It's in the Admin's best interest in order to retain new members and boost interest in membership. I, for one, considered being a paid member many times but refuse to do so until the moderation steps up to make this an enjoyable forum to visit. Newspapers simply won't publish letters to the editor which they either deem politically incorrect (read below) or which do not agree with the philosophy they're pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter to the editor that should have been published; but, with your help, it will get published via cyberspace! From: "David LaBonte" My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed. So, I decided to "print" it myself by sending it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined. Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register: Dear Editor: So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry. Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home. None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of America as one people. When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German-American or the Irish-American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl. And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags. And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill.
