Every member has the right to post in the forum, whether they’re right or wrong. The real problem starts when discussions go off the rails, drift off topic, and turn into personal attacks. Starting January 1st, that’s going to change for all topics except Rants and Flames.

When you say discussions go off the rails I hope that covers people talking about their private life wasting valuable space for on topic discussions and for now all I am waiting for is the L&T forum to go live again BUT I can safely say I'll not be conversing with certain members EVER as it needs to stop and if they want to rant and carry on then hopefully you'll see the shit posted and act as you have done previously but this time more severely as stated in this new punishment plan.

The apartment topic should only include conversations about the tenants in their respective units. Anything else is considered off-topic and will be removed once noticed. 

I’m not online 24/7, so some things might take a bit longer to be removed. I’ll go through every post, which takes about two hours a day once I’m on.

This is just a discussion board about The Hot Seat. The actual Hot Seat topic will be on a separate board, which will be locked so only Mods and Admins can access, but it will be visible to everyone to see.

Cheers ...I'll bear that in mind but yes 1 or 2 here seem to think the forums are there to talk about their private lives rather than using DM's to do it. It just wastes valuable space and I'm guilty of that too but probably will other types of comments and not about my life story. Thanks again.

Nothing more than what I stated before. 

The SSL Security Certificate has been updated but somehow it still appears as invalid.  Likely something to do with the new Version 5 software. Admin is aware of it.

There will be the odd post here and there but if it's going to where it consumes almost a full page or more that's not on topic then the whole thing will be removed.

They can disagree with another member’s post without it being removed; the issue lies in how they address it. It’s quite simple, avoid the name calling or using offensive language that isn’t necessary.

The glory of it will be when someone gets into The Hot Seat, they won't be able to post in Rants and Flames either.

I still say to toss all of the rules and see what happens. At least then we'll have something to read and reply to.
