If I was making a list of who I thought was kind on RLC she would be in the bottom group, Maya, Dasha, Kira, Zoya, Adriana, Kamila, Kirsty and Nelly I would have way out in front of her. First you say "she is far more intelligent, more talented, and kinder than some of the women of RLC" then you say she is on the bottom of your list When someone uses " " (speech marks) it means they are quoting someone else's words. In fact, Nora was screaming at a very frightened Jenny about having sex on the couch the night before and Rita came to Jenny's aid. They argued for quite a while and Nora started yelling at Rita for not cleaning up the kitchen properly. Rita, being Rita, would not back down from Nora and they ended up barely saying a word to each other for the rest of Rita's stay. It was a shame to see that they couldn't/wouldn't try to reconcile. faux!!! le jour ou nora à remit en place rita, c'était milana qui était là, et qui baissait les yeux!!! nora n'a pas parlée de ménage, mais de participation commune aux courses alimentaires de l'appartement!! rita n'a pas jouée son role, et nora lui a simplement expliquer les choses!!!! false !!! the day nora replaced rita was milana who was there, and looked down !!! nora has not spoken of household, but joint participation in groceries from the apartment !! rita has not played its role, and nora simply explain things to him !!!! I did not say it happened the day "nora replaced rita". I said the day Nora got into the fight with Jenny was when Rita came to Jenny's rescue and argued back. Milana had not even arrived at that point because Jenny had not yet left. Rita stayed for quite a while after that and she and Nora never were able to reconcile. No manager who has to hold people to rules or guidelines that others may like to work around or stretch or even ignore at times is always popular of a friend. I think it is the nature of the job. It seems when she gets mad with one of the favorites - Rita for example (who I did not really care for but others did) the Nora bashing starts but than they all get along she is popular more so. Weather you like or dislike the rules was not the point nor did the thread title ask about that. Only that Nora can be in a no win spot. If she ignores the rules it is bad for her and if she enforces them against the other tenets wishes there is conflict. And not withstanding your comment I like the apartment at the present time. If you are so sure that this apartment is so fake, why don't you just stop watching and complaining? You won't stop watching because you don't even believe what you're saying. jezus Posted August 9, 2015 Share Posted August 9, 2015 If you really want to know what's going through Nora's mind now days with her new temporary roommates, you seriously need to have watched her at the old apartment. She dresses better in the free rooms now, incidentally, but she doesn't make her famous soup anymore, and she gave up baking bread. You can't judge her by this apartment alone, or even by the old one, for that matter. What I can tell you is that she is far more intelligent, more talented, and kinder than some of the women of RLC have been. Just like Leora and Maya, she is not a simple woman to understand, but she's easy enough to respect. Her fan club is extremely loyal to their queen, and has held up remarkably well, through the bad times as well as the good times. You keep bringing up Leora and that she is not an easy woman to understand. I have nothing against Leora but she is the least complicated person on this site (by a mile). This apartment is not like any of the others. This is totally different and I assume they have reasons. Maybe only to make people watch more. Maybe Kiko and Nora get paid based on viewers and they want the play to continue so people watch and save the bang for the end. It is a business ..... Whatever the reason she is apparently the manager and will be blamed if people do not like the rules. But when everyone is happy and interacting then she is seen as great again. Therefore no win. My belief is that the rules for each apartment are developed by the tenants themselves, and not by any strict scripting by RLC. Pure speculation here, of course.
