ww_watcher
Yes you are right Linked, for the most part. The point is there have been Muslims living peacefully in this country for more than 100 years; we are the melting pot of the world. None have ever tried to run for POTUS because of their severe minority status and their religious convictions. However, this guy from CAIR is trying to force the issue into the open, as has happened recently with homosexual marriages and immigration, and Dr Carson walked into the trap, set by President Obama, and sprung it. There is too much hatred and distrust on both sides for there to be a peaceful resolution to this issue. Also the fighting between the different sects would cause a catastrophe that would only end badly for every muslim in this country.
Ozi
This week's news, so far: High five, gold star, 10 out of 10, whatever praise you can think of for Lora Logan, who has returned to work after signing a new contract with CBS News. For those that don't remember her, Lora Logan is the 60 Minutes reporter who was forcefully separated from her producer and bodyguard as she reported on the Arab Spring in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, surrounded by crowds celebrating the toppling of then-President Hosni Mubarak. Encircled by a group of up to 300 men, she was stripped, beaten and sexually assaulted. While we are at it, condolences to a young muslim girl, whose father has admitted to strangling her 19-year-old sister to death after she was caught shoplifting condoms to use with a man she had been forbidden from dating. Asadullah Khan, 51, used his bare hands to strangle his daughter Lareeb because she had brought “dishonour” to the family, the court in Germany heard. His wife Shazia Khan, 41, is also on trial for their daughter’s murder as she did not attempt to stop him. And condolences to the young German backpacker that was raped by a muslim asylum seeker, released into the community while his application was being considered. And lets not forget the two young women raped by a refugee from Afghanistan, already given a protection visa to stay in Australia. After raping one young women, he raped a second whilst 'out on bail' for the first offence. His excuse in court, he didn't understand the concepts of consensual and non-consensual sex. This is the type of scum we are allowing into our countries. And in case someone wants to comment that this is happening to women and children in their countries so we should be more sympathetic, here's my response in advance, another common Aussie expression, DILLIGAF (Do I Look Like I Give A Fuck). If your country is fucked, fix it, don't bring your shit to mine.
Ozi
I am in favour of capital punishment; in fact I think they should bring back corporal punishment in schools and for some offences. Nothing like a bit of public flogging and maybe stop them committing the more serious crimes that require capital punishment. And maybe capital punishment doesn’t save the first victim, but it will stop there being a second, or third, or fourth. In Australia, like many jurisdictions, you can commit multiple rapes and murders, sometimes while on bail, and not get anything remotely close to life. But not good old Georgia, USA. The only woman on Georgia’s death row was executed by lethal injection early Wednesday morning following a series of legal challenges that delayed her execution by several hours. Kelly Gissendaner was convicted of convincing her boyfriend to murder her husband; she didn’t even commit the murder. And the guy that did, got life, which probably means he may get out eventually. Whoever runs Georgia needs to run master classes on punishing offenders.
ww_watcher
Here's a little light reading on the argument of gun control. http://www.beliefnet.com/News/Articles/Harvard-University-Study-Reveals-Astonishing-Link.aspx?p=
Ozi
Let's all spare a thought for the families and friends of the six US airmen killed in Afghanistan. There are still almost 10,000 U.S. troops and an estimated 4,000 NATO troops still currently deployed to Afghanistan. How many more of our soldiers are we going to lose? BBsq69
In response to Timewarp's comment, I gathered as much. However this very thing you seem to delight in will be the ruin of the communist stronghold that this treasonous president and others currently have over this country. You really have no idea what communism is. Obama's pretty much to the right of everybody in Europe who BTW aren't communists. If you had spent one week in a communist state you'd be worshipping Obama forever. I visited Russia and the Warsaw Pact countries and it was as grey and oppressive as you can possibly imagine - it was a great day when the Berlin Wall came down and they could rediscover what freedom felt like. You must be pretty warped to think on a global scale Obama is even left of centre - some of the rhetoric of the Democratic Party may appear so, but in policy terms no way that would be recognisable in Europe. woodworker
Obama, to his dismay is not allowed to become the communist dictator he so much would like to be. Do you really think that he doesn't envy and admire the likes of Castro, or that other little pip squeak there in North Korea? Of course he does. And he's doing the best that he can under the current circumstance to tear up our Constitution and reduce us to this same sort of dictatorial state as those two countries are. Socialism and Communism go hand and hand. You can not be a socialist without first being a communist. I say this because from the moment you usurp the will of the people and say, "I claim the power to take this and that now away from you", because in their opinion you have too much of both, you now no longer have any protection, or any rights left to you. And what was once yours, no matter how hard you may have worked in order to procure these things, won't mean a fucking thing to them. And that is called communism, wrapped in it's rather sheer socialist slip. In their mind it goes something like this,.. "Why you bold and unruly little man, just who do you think you are?" And as far as Europe goes,.. Just take a fucking look at it! But your pretty blind if you don't see just how much Obama enjoys his European counterparts company. "Hey fellas,.. Lets have a huge world conference over here on "Climate Change" I want to put a strangle hold on some of America's larger corporation." So don't tell me he doesn't covet the European model, just because there are still some real Americans left that are trying to resist his leftist entreaties. Remember the USSR? Were they not big exponents of communism? And did they not help to prop up their good ole pal Fidel? And now Obama wants to lift the sanctions off of Cuba and become friends. Why not, he's never been opposed to communist dictators. Obama's as fucked up as some of the worst of those European leaders. He's just a little hampered over here for the moment. BBsq69
Hilarious ... I thought it was the Communists that did brainwashing. You probably watch Fox owned by the ex Marxist Rupert Murdoch - mind you he's now only interested in his personal power and no longer has any beliefs whatsoever so he caters equally for Texas and China. "Even true things once said on Fox become lies." - Lois Griffin
woodworker
That's right you liberal cocksucker,.. I do! Actually, I watch OAN, it's much more conservative. Now remember, whatever you throw up against me, will come right back at you. You dredged up an old post, and then call me warped for holding those views. Well, you little half-wit cunt. If you don't like my opinions,.. tough! I am still entitled to it whether you like it or not. It takes a moronic liberal to rally behind an illogical quote from Lois Griffin. Tell me moron, how can something that is true become a lie simply because it is mentioned on Fox News? Or is it simply the very though of having to hear a conservative point of view causes you intolerant hypocrites to go into a fit of hysterics over such instead. woodworker
So then it's just a question of being rude on your part in calling me warped, or in trying to ridicule me in the fact that I may watch Fox? Is that all it is? Let me tell you something, you intolerant little cunt! There have been plenty of other peoples views and comments that I didn't agree with, but I never attacked them for it personally. I only fired back insult for insult when they first tried to take a bite out of me with their lathering little fangs.
BBsq69
I apologise for using the word "warped". Clearly that upset you far more than I had any intention of doing. Maybe skewed would be better as in your views are clearly skewed to the right which is accurate and I hope not offensive. Seriously you ought to hear the bile that comes out of the mouths of those on the opposite side of the political spectrum. Apparently anyone not sharing their views is evil and should be purged. Eventually I had to stop talking to them because they are so far skewed to the left ... I would use much worse words to them. Obama is not a communist. You must know that. It's the same as if the Tea Party of UKIP were called fascist. It is simply isn't accurate description, merely a label for people of different views and a bit of insult people who suffered the tyranny of an actual communist regime.
