Hi Admin any news on whether my FTP upload worked yet? Nothing is showing on the site

It didn't work. I was going to test it out with a few different files myself.  What was the file size on the videos that you uploaded?

@Admin having trouble getting video to show up on VoyeurTube it shows it uploaded but does not show. Name is Sunday2 and is 147mb in size any thoughts?

The file size might be the issue. The server doesn't like files that are over 100MB. I'll look into it.

Attaching multiple images at one time works again.

We only permit submissions that are from publicly available sources (I.e. not stolen from private galleries or personal computers). We do not encourage or permit hacking of any kind to obtain images of people without their consent. Additionally, we do not condone photographing or filming people without their consent and prohibit the posting of images that are obtained in that way. Also, do you know how to use FTP? There is a mass upload folder on the FTP site that allows you to import batches without going through the web interface. I could give you FTP access to that folder for your uploads.

I could give FTP a try. I have used it before..... might actually be easier. Can you send me the details via PM?

Yeah, I'll set it up in a bit. Now they are saying that the max upload size is only 100mb per post. So, I think part of the issue is that when you try to upload more than one file and they equal more than 100mb combined it rejects it. The reason for the limit is that this site is on a shared host, so they add limits. If it were on a VPS I could remove the limit, but I am not ready to make that investment yet. I want to see what kind of traffic this site gets before moving to that. FYI, as of now I am going to leave the video site open for all, even when the new membership policy takes effect here.

I don't know. But I seem to be stuck, unable to get any new vids uploaded. So I am using putlocker at the moment.

Can you point me to a video that you've tried uploading that didn't work? I'd like to see if it's a permissions issue or if it's rejecting the file for some reason.

First of all, thank you for your service. I understand what you're saying about the various opinions that are expressed here, and just know that they don't necessarily represent the opinions of everyone here. My goal here is not to create a community of hate and bigotry, in fact it's quite the opposite. I do almost no moderation of this forum (aside from removing spam), because I want it to be an open community where people are free to share ideas and discuss whatever topics that they desire (even if it means leaving negative reviews of this forum). I do my best to respond to people genuinely, and I've never banned someone because of an opinion that they've held. After all, what fun would it be if we all had the same opinions? I strongly believe in the sentiment "live, and let live". If you have an opinion that you would like to express feel free to share it. Just as I say to those who complain about the quality of pictures that are posted here, "if you don't like it, start your own thread and do something about it". As to the membership point, I have actually deleted a fair amount of inactive members. If i hadn't done that we would be in the high 20s. Forums in general tend to work on the 90-9-1 rule which says that: 90% of people will just lurk, 9% will post from time to time, and 1% will generate most of the content. Read into that what you will, but this is ultimately a forum in the adult voyeur niche so it's not going to be a hot bed of stimulating intellectual conversation. I wouldn't be opposed to creating a politics board to keep those conversations somewhat segregated for those that don't want to participate. I hope that you'll continue to have fun here, and don't be afraid to express your opinions.

might have had a minor breakthrough - just uploaded an 18MB file wth no errors...... and it shows up!!!

I was just going to ask you to test it. I managed to upload 4 videos. Support says they fixed the issue, but to not upload more than 2 videos at a time for now.

I certainly appreciate what you're saying. No one likes to pay for porn, at the same time this site costs money to run. If it is going to continue to exist, it must be able to pay for itself. Think of it this way, if people only went to your favorite bar or coffee shop to hangout, and never actually bought anything, how long do you think the place would last?

It depends upon what you want from CamCaps.

I haven't paid for RLC. I'm cheap.

I have paid for CamCaps because: those of us who enjoy entertaining, witty, and informative conversation with others have a great time on this forum. Some T&A is nice; but most of us can get that for free from imagefap or motherless. Or our sexual mates.

Discussions about RLC couples and their dynamics is different. Discussions with CamCaps members is different. CamCaps is not porn. It's art. (Unusual art, but art nonetheless)

Their support is still working on it. I can see all the videos in the queue but they all say processing. Supposedly the server times out if there are too many jobs at once.

Is anyone else having these problems?

Support is working on it. So far they've said that they think its from too many uploads at one time.

hmmm...getting the same "you don't have permission....." message now on all the files regardless of size.....

I am going to put in another ticket thanks for your effort. I can see the videos on my end and they say processing.

All, If you have videos to share I would appreciate it if you uploaded them to our new video site: voyeurtube.cc, and then simply posted the link to the video on here. Benefits of the new site include:  Much larger upload limit so you can share large (up to 600MB) videos, you can watch the videos directly on the site, and it reduces bandwidth usage on this site. Unfortunately, at this point you have to register on that site in order to upload. I am working on finding a way to merge the user databases so that you don't have to log in twice, but that may take some time. Please let me know if you have any questions.

and now I don't appear to have permission to update any file, so nothing is uploading....or at least I cannot see it on my channel

I haven't changed anything on my end. Is it giving you any errors?

In the simplest terms the server itself has its own limit. The site can have whatever limit it wants but the server limit is trump.

Upload limit increased to 600MB.

I have tried three times now to upload the vid of maya and stepan which is over 200MB and each time I get an error.

I am just trying again with a batch of files under 40MB to see if any of them fail.

Okay, I'll put in a ticket for it.

I seem to have a problem with files over 100MB. The smaller ones so far have worked but with the larger files I keep getting I/O error messages

Are you still having problems with it? Max upload size is set at 1GB in the site software itself. If that doesn't work I may have to ask the host to increase the php max upload size.

I can't tell at the moment as I am on a cell phone. The compression is likely reducing the quality. The avi seems to be working well.
