Perhaps it is time to revisit the idea of a relocation center to "protect" Islamists and their supporters. In California there is the perfect place to do that: Manzanar. Delightful area, sunny most of the year. It's where FDR relocated the Japanese (including Japanese-Americans) at the start of WWII. The government can pre-print its apologies on business card size notices and hand them to each person relocated. The stay at Mussy Manzanar will be temporary, of course: just until the War on Terror is over. My advice: pack a lunch, Akbar.

I always wondered what happened to her! She and I went to summer camp in Northern California. The consummate horsewoman, she was unsurpassed at posting. Anyway, give ol' Senility my best. Tell her that I forgive what she said during Bible class.

I'm not making any evaluation of the girls-only apartment here, but with respect to "other lesbian apartments on rlc," nobody is "forgetting" that they exist but few both to go visit them, except as noted below. I submit it's because what one finds there are dumpy, boring women reading, eating, sleeping; reading, eating, sleeping; reading, eating, sleeping, etc. No little parties, no other couples, etc. Excluded from this remark are, of course, Kira and Nina. They do all of the above and have all sorts of fun things going on. The only-girls apartment almost looks like a higher-quality training and evaluation farm for future Chat-ur-bate workers. What I find most interesting is not what happens in the rlc apartments but what does not happen. True, I know folks who watch TV and eat all day/ all night, but even they sometimes have a discussion about life, movies, politics, gossip, etc. One gets the impression that, were a nuclear bomb to be detonated by a terrorist in X-country, not one of these apartments would turn to the news to find out what happened. No, Leora would turn the TV to an American sit-com, Masha to the exercise channel... etc. It's as though they are told not to tune their televisions to non-taped-content-stations. Lastly, the girls-only apartment needs to have a new rule: put your fucking phone down, girl. moe than 'nuf sed. That's just my opinion; I am nearly always wrong.

Sometimes, one encounters an "old film" that (1) is only old because you're not, and/or (2) has been seen by everybody else but you. The death of David Bowie spurred additional interest in his life's work. Falling into that category is The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976). The film was made before my birth so, under the United Nations Protocol on Entertainment Antiquities, it's classified as "an old film." Disambiguation: "old film" in this context refers to motion pictures that were made long ago. Bowie's performance is stellar. The direction and editing were marvelous and, considering the year it was made, the special effects (all analog) were astoundingly convincing.

Well said. We all do what we do to get by and better our economic situation. That said, it comes as no surprise that some people (not naming names here) can't get off on the beauty of sex in its various forms; they need to express disapproval to satisfy and resolve and rebalance their lust/shame internal conflicts. These are guys who can't cum unless they can tell "You filthy whore, you disgusting bitch!" when they are having sex. I suppose some women get off on that sort of thing but for others, it only makes the O go. But that's just my opinion; I'm usually wrong.

The "bottom line" of course, is that this year, the Mets were the sentimental favorites nationwide, but the Royals actually played outstanding ball. There was an inning in which every batter swung at every pitch and the Royals' half of the inning didn't end any too soon (actual details missing, as I was "lager-watching" the game). Compare and contrast with the Los Angeles Dodgers: First pitch = called strike - a 89 mph fast ball right down the pipe; second pitch = foul ball; third pitch = emergency swing, ball popped up. Often it looked like they stood at the plate begging for balls they way a squirrel begs for nuts. Not liking the direction this post is heading, I'll end it here.
