I didn't use Google. In fact, I don't think Google will translate the text in a picture. I didn't type the French into a translator. I used a Windows app called Microsoft Translator to translate the text right in the image. They probably used Bing to do the translating. I just pasted the image in the app and it translated the text. It will translate things like road signs, street signs, menus, etc. Any foreign language you can take a picture of or have a picture of. One of the other things it will do is allow two (or more) people to speak to each other in their own languages, while it translates for them as they speak or type. The people can be face to face or anywhere in the world. It's a cool little app.

If you mean the shorter lines, thank you. I think it's much easier to read than trying to follow the longer lines from left to right and back again. It's more like reading a magazine or a newspaper with multiple columns, but shorter lines. JMO.
