I know it's just an old saying and everyone says it, however, practice makes permanent, but not necessarily perfect. If you practice something incorrectly or in the wrong way, that method may become permanent, but it won't be perfect. One that I've found that works very well is Video DownloadHelper. It's an add-on/extension I run in Firefox, but it may also be available for other browsers. I especially like it because it downloads files that websites won't let you download any other way, like when you right click on a video and don't get a menu. And, it's free. Hope this was helpful.
