Gent's !! Just to clarify, I will be arriving back in the UK on November 30.....My membership subscription is still in force until mid December, so as you can see my vacation has played no part in my decision not to renew. And as you say, yes I have been fond of Leora for many years, and still am, but I am now reluctant to pay for something that is not as it was when first I started following her. But as mentioned previously, I have left my options open for the future.

Yes I am Auss, but I made my own luck in life....No one ever gave me fuck all, and I had a roller coaster ride, everything from serving nine years in Britain's finest regiment, to being a construction labourer, working in personal protection for rich pampered arseholes, serving a short spell of incarceration, set up and failed in two previous business ventures, and finally became a partner in a successful business... Hence, I don't ever expect anything for nothing, always appreciative of people's work ethic, and speak my mind, but always prepared to apologise if wrong. It's served me well.

Watching Leora this past 7 years has been a very good investment as far as I am concerned, always a good dividend returned. But unfortunately her situation is to me at the moment a case of diminishing returns...Time for me to get out at the top and wait to see if the bounce occurs later with an opportunity to reinvest. My decision in no way lessens my admiration for Leora....She has always been and always will be in my mind a very special woman.

It's never been about money Aussie, It's about principle and fair returns for my investments.....Which is precisely why I can afford to go to the Caribbean for six weeks, return for Christmas and then back to the Caribbean again in January until the end of March.

It would be foolish to state that I am gone forever, " Never say Never " Things might improve sometime in the future, in which case I would be back watching her in a flash....But not the way I see the apartment and the tenants developing at the moment, I can spend my time and money on far more rewarding projects. I am preparing myself for the inevitable " withdrawal symptoms " in the best way possible, Tomorrow morning I fly out to the beautiful Caribbean for six weeks of no Covid 19 and no RLC, but CC will be a daily 15 minute browse. It's now two weeks since I first published the findings of my research and at the time I stated that I would " hang on in there for a while yet " Looking at my findings again, and coming to the conclusion that there are now in my opinion more negatives than positives in this apartment with regard to " value for money " I have decided that when my membership of RLC comes up for renewal in December I will not be taking up the option. Unlike some people, I have never looked at other apartments, I saw then no point and reinforce that decision now....There was no one in my opinion who was close to emulating Leora in those days, and though I still think she is a lovely woman I think her mind is preoccupied with what to her is of more importance than keeping a bunch of perverts happy. Having said that, I don't begrudge her a private life and wish her every happiness...If she can get as much happiness as she has given me this last seven years then she will be blessed. She has had much to contend with this past nine months, emotional problems, a permanent guest, and a new boyfriend to keep happy, so consequently the dynamics of the apartment changed dramatically....To be fair, some people like it, others detest it, I just think it is not as I would like it to be, and certainly not worthy of having the " Leora " brand attached to it. I will leave my options open, if things improved I would naturally rejoin, but I didn't sign up and pay for Leora but get Malia instead.....I wouldn't with all due respect watch Malia if she was free. I will stay on the forum because I enjoy the banter which is at least value for money. I will still support and respect Leora, she has in the past been the one that everyone aspired to be, and has given a great deal of pleasure to a great many people.
