I've heard a ton of smaller garage bands that did more damage to my ears than rap could do today. The 'bands' of our day were excellent and I still enjoy them today. I just can't quote names of the players in many or any of them. I listened to it, but I didn't live it.

I, for one do. 😖 It was on the AM band at 560 WQAM. That station would reach to Jacksonville, out of Miami. It was probably the only thing on the band back then.

Who I think is the best keyboardist is like the music, subjective. I was never really into the heavy R&R. I was a classical organist and pianist until my left hand was taken from me. My idea of the best keyboardist is Virgil Fox, Diane Bish, Richard Elliot, Samuel Metzgar, etc... Anyone can bang out screaming noise. It takes a Master to make music. In the R&R scene, Elton John and Billy Joel are nothing to sneeze at. And they are still performing.

Fantasy was all it was BB. The Queen Knighted the best keyboardist. That beats any fantasy band.

I don't remember hearing this rendition. I looked it up and It's a Canadian band, 'The Original Caste'. I remember who I believe was Joni Mitchell doing that song on the AM when I was young. Personally, I like the Canadian girls voice better in that particular song.
