Who said I wanted a higher infection rate? I'm just stating facts. If what the CDC says is true, than that means the virus may not be as deadly as we feared it was. Would that not be a good thing? That would also mean that many of the people who were infected showed no serious symptoms.

Death rates will decrease by the same rate as the infection rate increases in the areas where the infection rates are increased. 10 deaths / 100 infections = .1 death rate, 10 deaths/1300 infections = .0076923 death rate. .0076923 x 13 =.099999999 or .1

The CDC is now saying that that the infection rate in certain parts of the U.S. was two to thirteen times higher than reported. So that means the death rate was two to thirteen times lower than reported. But will the CDC ever tell people that?
