If there are witnesses in this trial, the presidents' lawyers need to call Adam Schiff as their first witness and question him about his ans his staffs' contacts with the whistle blower. Their second witness should then be the whistle blower. It would be very interesting to compare the testimony of Adam Schiff to that of the whistle blower.

The real verdict will be rendered by the American people in Nov., 2020, and that is how it should be.

Trump didn't allow one piece of paper to be seen by the House? He gave them a transcript of his phone call with the Ukrainian president. As for witnesses, he rightly claimed Executive Privilege. All the Democrats had to do was take their case to court to force the members of Trump's White House staff to testify.
