  1. My experience modding RLC apartments is that it takes some newbie tenants a while before they get accustomed to the cameras. Then they relax, and then don't care whatsoever about who's watching. The neat thing about such people is that they aren't porn professionals, and real voyeur's generally hate "canned" shows.
  2. From CC's point of view, I'd say 37 pages in such a sort time is good traffic flow!
  3. I think James should consider starting an Amy and Golfer Apartment. That ought to generate a lot of action and comments from our English speaking friends! 🤣 In fact, he could start a whole lot of apartments by recruiting our membership! And, if you wonder why Mods get burned out in this profession:
  4. Re: Darkjoker666's comment -- Leora had been having a very difficult time, and she was an emotional basket case. I am respectful of how much restraint Paul showed considering they are completely emotional opposites. Still, he showed strength and restraint, and she likes that in a man. The simple fact is that all three of them got through their difficulties; they all love one another despite their extreme differences in psychological make-up -- it's the reason why they get along so well. Yarik and a few people over at VH are quite a different matter when recalling the nature of their relationships...
  5. Finally, I am caught up with this topic...But did you say I need a flashlight or a fleshlight? Is there a difference? 🤣
  6. She needs to learn from Leora. She's still lacking a squirrel and a skunk... 😁
  7. Wait a minute, sir. There's really no need to drag the Italians into this. They like to drink wine. Any culture that loves wine and can drink wine is highly civilized, despite continual warfare, government corruption and continual economic collapse. They definitely know how to enjoy a great meal with friends and family. And some of them, as on RLC, know how to enjoy a great many other pleasures of life! 😁 I started a business in my garage with little government interference, and wound up with a business in the city within 6 months, and ran it for 25 years before taking an early retirement. That's why I have time to come here and chat with you fine folks. If you haven't noticed, StnCld & I are in total disagreement regarding many aspects of politics (including Trump), but yet we are both very good friends. That's how politics should be done. Russia has Leora living there, in Siberia of all places. That should pretty much knock other nation's pride down a few notches.
  8. Myself, I would very much like to find and read the specific documents regarding the tariffs on US imported goods. I do understand some of these are extremely high -- that's called protectionism -- but I'd like to see more actual documents and less hysteria about the entire situation. Trade agreements should be viewed and understood by logical, and not by emotional, analysis. Politicians seldom are willing or capable to do this. Their people require emotionalism and rhetoric, so they are not trained to do much good for anybody. There isn't going to be a trade war unless it's between the democracies and republics of the world versus the totalitarian states. That one could happen. And often, I think it probably should. Why so much of my tax dollars have been plundered by my own government to support the world's largest concentration camps in the world like North Korea is unfathomable and immoral.
  9. There doesn't seem to be a departure date for Nina & Kira at this time. There is no set departure date for CC members, either. As for squirrels, we never leave, we just fade away... I classify Nina and Kira as very likable girls. Hope they do well with their project.
  10. I won't argue with you about your opinions regarding Kira and Nina. They are both very nice and talented people and they are quite likeable, and I'll miss them when they leave. I will play cribbage with Kira but never chess, and I will not play guitar while Nina sings. That's the conclusion to which I have come. And I'd donate 500 points to the member who named "Doe Eyes," but I don't know who did that. Step forward if you dare. That name was brilliant.
  11. She can clean and polish my mirrors any time she likes. Any how, since "General Threads" are being kinda sorta blown up, I'm going to start a Leora Lover topic that's strictly for us fluffy-tailed warm and cuddly woodlands avatar creatures. Non-cartoon creature avatars need not apply.
  12. I think most native American citizens, whether left or right, agree that we are fortunate to be born here. I volunteered for elections this year. Several new voters asked if it was OK for their parents pictures of them casting their ballots into the ballot box. Another gentleman asked us to take a picture of him casting his vote. He had lived in a 3rd world country, and had gone to the trouble to obtain US citizenship. He wanted to share his picture with his family and friends. He was joyous and proud. It was heart warming, to say the least. Made all my hours spent as an election clerk worthwhile in just a few moments when I could see how good we have it here.
  13. I don't come here much. It's an unmoderated thread. Politics and religion are touchy subjects. People get emotional about their beliefs. The odd thing is that we actually discuss issues here. It doesn't matter that we are unlikely to convince people to agree with us if they don't already share the same political stance. We know what the game is when we come here. The other odd thing is that, as a Mod, I spend most of my time addressing issues of personal insults and food fights that happen in the Apartment threads, which should be logically the least likely places for stupid insults to fly. Thank all of you for acting like adults here. This thread was created by TBG150 as an unmoderated thread, because we're both in favor of free speech. Old Dudes, Rants & Flames have worked out well too, and so has Worldwide Politics. You can come here and argue furiously with another member. Then you can go and share music at Old Dudes, and discover that you're actually buddies.
  14. Houlii: I agree with you. The medical system has been in the dumpster since the Federal Government got involved with it way back when World War II ended. At that time, in an attempt to avoid a massive recession (a natural event that happens after a big war), the government froze wages. Corporations that were growing needed employees; they were allowed to perform group purchases of medical insurance and offer them to prospective employees -- a tax exempt compensation. It sounded great at the time for the employees. It had the unintended consequences of raising the costs for individuals who did not work for bigger businesses. Then, in the 1960's, the government created Medicare to take care of people who were not capable of joining the work force. Those subsidies screwed up the supply and demand once again. Now, the only path to medical care is to be wealthy and healthy, or you will need to bulldoze your way through an incompetent and costly government bureaucracy to find your way to a medical doctor. That adds to the cost. When I was a kid, my dad just wrote a check to the doctor. My grandfather was in very poor health back in 1930s. He was also utterly impoverished. The church and the community hospital fixed him up. My grandmother paid off the bill by baking and delivering cookies every week to the doctor. Believe me, by the time I showed up in this life, she had learned to make the best cookies on the face of the Earth. Communities and charities take care of their own. Big governments take care of thenselves, but they do it in a selfish and inefficient manner.
  15. It has been illegal to deny anyone of emergency medical services on the basis of their finances. It's been that way for decades, and it's immoral and against the ethics of any medical doctor. I simply don't see how expanding the power and cost of the Federal Government can solve such problems. Most of our politicians obviously can't identify the difference between an elbow and an anus...😄
  16. Correct. The cost of medical care has not declined; the cost of a premium for a self-employed person doubled in 2011. The cost of the policy I had during the Bush years has quadrupled. I saw the writing on the wall, shut down the business, and retired because it made no sense for me to continue with the operation. All profits would go to a huge new bureaucracy of civil servants who dictated the kind of care I would get. Not worth my time, labor, or risk. I no longer add to the national GDP. I find it abhorrent that I must rely on the government for such expensive and shoddy services. If I get pregnant and have a kid, whelp: that's covered! Whoopee! As for Medicare, it's really sweet if you want to wait a couple months for a doctor's appointment.
  17. I have been notified that my doctor is leaving. So I'll need to get another. Next year, I will be forced to take Medicare, which means changing the doctor I like and the policy I like. This will be my 7th time of switching since Obamacare was instituted.
  18. WTF? Apparently, some leftists have been floating the idea of a "Living Wage Tax." This is getting fucking ridiculous over here...I thought I was watching a suspenseful mystery movie but I'm actually sitting at a comedy club.
  19. I just stop in here occasionally to see how much my government has put me in debt by their ridiculous and irresponsible spending. Keep in mind that the House of Representatives is the body that controls (or discontrols!) the purse strings... Don't forget to look at the history tab to make comparisons. http://usdebtclock.org/
  20. Neither did Obama or Clinton. Bush #2 holds an airman's certificate and is qualified to fly fighter jets, and served in the reserves. His father fought with propeller fighters, was highly decorated, and got shot down. He was lucky to survive the war. Reagan served, but was limited to shore side duties due to bad eyesight. He was officer rank, and worked in the quasi-intel "public relations" teams. Carter was a sub guy on a nuke. Ford was very well decorated for service with the US Navy in WWII. Nixon was a Quaker, so he could have been exempted from service, but he signed on with the US Navy anyway. Johnson served in the Navy as an administrator and observer. Kennedy was in command of a patrol torpedo boat. Eisenhower also served. Big time. If you are too young to remember who he was, or who Churchill was, or who Hitler was, then our government education system is worse than I thought it was.
  21. That's a big 10-4. Maybe put some rubber baby bumpers on your horns. This place is rocking like an earthquake, it's slippery, it's humid, and there's a distinct smell of tuna. Tread gently, or we'll both be shot out at high speeds . . . definitely a danger zone . . . but wonderous . . . another cave at the other end . . . little bitty slit, but I think I can make it . . .
  22. Squirrel to Harley. Squirrel to Harley...get a GPS fix from Thestarider and hand me down a flashlight. Looks like I'm going to have to go deeper than I thought. Over.
  23. I'd burrow under Leora's sheets but there would probably be a skunk or Scooter in there already. Maybe I should try my luck with Angie. I'll wear my squirrel cam so you can see my discoveries...
  24. Talk about a points hog. I've been here forever and you got more + points than I do. Dang! Where do I go to get back my Negative Karma points from the old days? Could it be that they're hiding under Angie's sheets?
  25. Incidentally, not to get off topic, but it looks like Chloe is doing a Maya to her man's face right now! Gotta go!
