Voyeur-House.TV - Part 1
Voyeur House TV replied to StnCld316's topic in VHTV - General Discussion (11/01/16)
Hello everyone, we invite you to test new version of VHTV which features new Streaming technology we will be rolling out for everyone as soon as we finish these tests. Start testing: https://staging.voyeur-house.tv Read more about it: https://staging.voyeur-house.tv/info Discuss it: https://camcaps.net/forums/topic/10456-help-us-testing-new-version-of-vhtv/ Many thanks! -
Dear CamCaps members, we need your help in testing updated version of VHTV This update will not feature any visual updates. You won't find anything new to you (well, some of you will, but these changes are not that big). The biggest change is the invisible thing. We managed to achieve totally next step in real-time streaming, which we have been developing for quite a while. Now we need your help to test it to see, if there are any errors or problems with it. So far it was tested thoroughly by our team and a small group of testers. Now it's time to invite you to break some shit over there and report problems to our Support. Basically, we ask you to try using Staging version just like you do it at usual one. Watch some cameras, switch Houses, try Timeline and Archive Moments. For hardcore users, go and break it. We ask you to do it so we could fix these beforehand releasing this large update to the main website. Please don't report some of the cameras lists out-of-date, or out-of-date Houses names - we test streaming only here. In case you run into any problems, please provide these details your support ticket: Your IP Exact time the problem occured URL of the page you were at when it happened Console and Network tabs output from your browser developer pane We appreciate any feedback from you. Feel free to report errors, contact us on these, and discuss it here. Let's squash these bugs together! GO AND TEST IT After the testing is over, we will shut down staging website until we find something new for you to try again. Hope this experiment will show some results and we will catch some of the most dirtiest errors in this update :)

We launched at November the 1st in 2016, so yeah, we will turn 1 year old very soon. Our team has something prepared for our subscribers and future subscribers too :) -
Hey everyone, We understand this apartment may be slow on start, but we are paying attention to it as it is the first one from all the gay apartments to come online soon. The person ought to arrive yesterday couldn't do it, so we wait for him to come today. Let's see how it goes there. We won't push anyone and will patiently watch what is happening at this apartment just as you do. VHTV

It is mainly based on our audience demand. The second most important reason is our interest in running this experiment and not limiting anybody in choice & preferences. It will be online at VHTV. Be aware, CasaHot is coming for this weekend only. The next season, which will take some months, will go live later, and the date to be announced. -

We don't see it as a stain of ours reputation, and we will cover Jeka here too. It was just an apartment that never stood competition of other apartments available at VHTV. From all the negative comments (we counted 2533 comments by this post) there were only 75 unique authors, top 10 of them are @ze81 (552 posts) @clivebb2 (280 posts) @jabbath1987 (196 posts) @seb38240 (180 posts) @golfer06 (145 posts) @mib82 (144 posts) @Amy3 (120 posts) @Sparkles (78 posts) @Rhdem (68 posts) and @groomy with 59 posts. Just talking about why this apartment lived this long, as many of commentators in this topic like to say. It lasted 2 months, which is ridiculously short life-span which ended essentially because less and less people watched it day by day. The reason it stayed for 2 months is because you, just like much more of those, who never visited CamCaps, watched it. The bigger problem which observed over here, is that this apartment was discussed, which proves it was watched by the same audience, who discussed it here. That is it :) Now this apartment is offline. We wish all of these participants to find their better future and persuade happiness somewhere else. This will teach everybody a great lesson for sure, including us. J. -

Of course it's not difficult. And most of the cams are synced. There are some cameras models that are great, but have these little things like de-syncing time which annoy both you and us. As you see, we always try different cameras in different set ups. As soon as we find something more interesting, we just swap bad cameras to new and that's it. In case you see problems with time at cameras, just let us know via Support, we will fix it quickly. For sure. It's almost ready to be rolled out. It's possible, but we don't see priority in doing so at the moment. The motion detection we will roll out won't trigger by animals and other objects but people. -

There will be always complaints, and that is good. There will be those, who live to express hatred, and that's just as it is, unfortunately. We are aiming to provide full range of any interests to watch, and you're free to switch our channels to find your favorite places to follow. As you see, no apartments with no activity stay for long at VHTV - they just can't compete with viewers attention to other apartments we have. -

Hey everyone, Sorry to see you ran into problems with Timeline recently, it was our small fuck up which was resolved quite quickly. In addition we had some error which resulted in getting our service down for about 2.5 minutes, which you saw as 502 error, but we got it up fast enough. We're enrolling some changes to our streaming which will get us to all new level in terms of providing real-time content. It will take some more time, but we will try to minimize all the negative output from these changes as fast as they may appear, sorry for inconvenience. These changes won't be visible to anybody, but they will give us opportunity to release some of most-wanted features to website very soon after all the changes will be rolled out. As usual, we will announce them separately. Within these days we will enroll our first gay apartment. Brace yourselves those who are against it, congratulations to anyone waiting for it, but that would be hell of experiment which will cover several apartments like these to come. Be sure we will make sure you will be able to see which apartment is, so-called "mainstream", which is "gay" and which are some other experimental directions we will show to you later. Stacy, Xenia, Gary & Dora is in a process of going offline today. VHTV -

Sorry guys, that was their decision after they had a serious quarell in their relations. We don’t keep our participants caged, it’s totally up to them. New couple will arrive next week. Farewell, Tony & Margaret. -

Are you a free user? We separate our infrastructure to Premium/Free. So as Premium users get all the features, HD and all the bandwidth, Free users are switched to lower quality automatically and in most cases the sound turns off for them too. We will, however, disable turning off the sound for free users soon, but now it stays as it is. -

Hey Stanley, Carol & Artur will no longer appear back at VHTV due to lack of reliability. Jeff & Violet are coming back instead within 1-2 days at new place. And some new people are coming under Jeka's management soon too. -

Hey everyone, I saw several complaints on our Support recently. You are totally right, Support should never be generic, and should be client-oriented thing we are always working on it to maintain this approach. We have some reasons on decreased quality of answers in Support, mainly due to extreme amount of tickets with feedback and different complaints. We have reached 9 million users per month, and we get a lot of attentions from our guests, viewers, and customers. Of course, this is not an excuse for us to maintain low-quality Support. That's why we will continue to improve it and will try to eliminate generic replies to anybody asking us questions. We are expanding our Support staff, and will introduce new features to this important part of our service next year. -

Hey, nobody asked to send anything to us in addition to Support tickets. We check CamCaps from time to time when we are available from product and business development, HR and Support. -

Good idea, thank you. We may consider allowing free users to see X minutes/hours from free cameras timelines. That won't be available anytime in recent future. Maybe previews will be introduced for archive videos, but no exact plans on that. Such topic will be added to Support system, thank you. -

Thank you for this idea. We have something in our plans to prevent misplaced cameras, but it will take some time to get to this task for our developers. Until then, we will continue relying on your feedback via Support so we could correct cameras placement quickly. -

We don't lack resources for broadcasting. So, for these two days, it's OK for this apartment to stay as it is. We do really need those. And we're working towards these right now. We will be 1 year old in November, and we had to start with some region. So it would be a great plan to expand on our Year 2 :) -

I see your point, @Amy3. That's what we have Timeline for, basically. As other websites introduced it to compete with us, our goal was to make a convenient way for anybody in the world to hop on our time machine. Of course, it would make problems for participants at the locations they are, if they switch to US timezone activity. That will definately kill the voyeur mood there as whole biorythm of participants would be fake too. We have much more coming for US customers than just staging a life :) You will enjoy that for sure.
