    I knew what he was doing was trying to get votes but to set himself up was a bit much. He'll likely never live up to that end of the deal anyways. At least he'll get two years with the gavel and then it depends on how they fare in 2024. If DeSantis is the nominee the republicans will make some good strides in 2024. If Trump is the nominee the republican party will suffer defeat greatly.

    He likely won't even get that. Hakeem Jeffries could become the next speaker if most turned their back on McCarthy. It likely won't happen as they don't want a democratic speaker for a republican house.

The teacher — a woman in her 30s — suffered... How does a 6 year old kid obtain a gun, go to school and shoot the teacher. A lot of questions the parents are going to face and they'll likely get charged.
