In Russia it is called "banya house" or баня дом or, in American, a sauna with a twist. Good analysis, which would explain her earlier action of trying to get rid of the giant mattress, and unable to get it out of the hallway, surrendered and put it back on the frame. She needs two or three more people to come and assist her with removing the giant mattress - the little thing can't do it by herself. There were several times I seriously thought she would get trapped under that mattress. Luckily, she has some upper arm strength.

Interesting observation, as we have seen she meditates, exercises with a giant rubber band, and also does yoga, and she eats A LOT of vegetables - if I'm not mistaken, she was munching on a bowl of uncooked Brussels sprouts earlier. That explains her tight body. And yeah, I guess humping a pillow can be considered a "core" exercise LOL. That would explain her diva cup. These New Age chicks, they crack me up!

So she was lounging on the bed a few minutes ago, then gets up and beds down on the floor. I would really love to know why she chooses the floor over the bed - the bed looks comfy! Very bizarre. Is she pretending she is camping? LOL Also, not as bizarre, but interesting that she chooses to use a diva cup. First one I've seen in use on VH.

There's just something about watching a hungry girl eat that makes me happy. I don't know what it is or how to explain it. Rejolda knows how to make and eat (and enjoy) a good healthy breakfast! And at a decent SPB morning hour at that (0815?? Unheard of!) (All due respect to Kira) I've said it once, I've said it a million times - NEVER let your girl get hungry. Feed them, and they are yours for life. 😉

Don't we all have our sleep quirks? Sometimes I fall asleep on my couch for a few hours watching infomercials, then wake up and crawl into bed with Fred (my dog) for the next few hours. Rejolda does NOT like the mattress that came with the apartment, which is why I think she was trying to get rid of it yesterday. She needs to bring back that cute fun redheaded friend (Christine?) with the pierced nips to help her take that mattress out. Or she could wait until I'm done unloading Nina/Kira's crap in their new house and I can swing back through SPB and give her a hand with the mattress, and, well, anything else she needs a hand with. 😛

Hey gang, sorry for interrupting your discussion, but I'd like to throw in my two pence here. While my girls Nina and Kira are on a week long relocation, I decided to branch out and see what's new in VH. I discover "Rejolda" (weird name, but whatever), and I swear, if I didn't know any better, I would think that she is Masha's twin sister (of Masha and Lex fame) as they have the same body frame, same height, same facial features, but Rejoldo has one cup size larger than Masha, but otherwise they look identical to me. I became intrigued. I checked the timeline, and there was a hilarious moment when she was trying to change the mattress on the bed - this 4'4" & 89 lb girl spent 38 minutes wrestling this heavy-ass fucking king sized mattress OFF of the bed, INTO the living room, INTO the hallway, only to give up and wrestle it BACK into the living room, BACK into the bedroom, and BACK onto the bedframe, all the while huffing and puffing and cussing in Russian. This, to me, my friends, is quality entertainment!! I was seriously laughing my ass off watching her struggle with this mattress, but still felt guilty and bad for her because I was in the same situation a few times myself in the past, so I know what she was going through. But it was still funny. She likes to talk to the cams. Personally I like that. I learned she "haz umm, boy frand, ann a gurl frand, her name, Alison, an we haz GREAT sex ann orgasms, ann also I haz GONdoms, cuz no baby needed here" (always nice to hear) I think some of you are equating that since she has a light umbrella you think she is a CB cam girl. I understand and commiserate with you, TBG, I'm kind of in the same boat as you, tech-wise. Back in the day, when DOS was King, I could handle my own. But when things went Winblows, I lost my edge. That's why I reached out for help here on this forum, because I knew the resident geeks (and I say that with love and respect) would try to assist, and Stone helped me out. I ended up fixing the laptop on my own, but he gave me the courage to try different things. Honestly, ask me anything about diesel engines, I can enthrall you for hours. Ask me to break down "MACBETH" line by line and I can do it. But ask me to explain this computer world - fugghedaboutit. In your situation, I would follow Stone's advice - get an external HD (the latest and greatest) and just drag/drop. Almost all peripherals these days are "plug-n-play" with minimal installation, which is perfect for greenhorns like me. Good luck!

Indeed, there is such a stark contrast between then and now - I can practically hear echoes when they talk. In a way, it doesn't look like the same apartment. Nina needs to teach them how to BUY MORE STUFF from OZO LOL! I do find it interesting that N/K left their Culligan water dispenser behind in the kitchen, unless they intend to pick it up later. UPDATE: Well! After creating the Win10 USB drive from this laptop (took forever) and plugging it in to the facked laptop and starting it up, it read the USB and I started the install on the only partition it allowed (out of 5 available), and after a couple hours, a fresh install of Win 10 was loaded! I was afraid that it had overwritten everything, and I had lost all of my files, BUT I remembered the re-install would store all my old data in a folder called windows.old, so after I went through the whole battery of fresh install questions and crap, I navigated to the windows.old folder, and BAZINGA! There were all my old documents and pictures, all accessible! 😃 I was apprehensive as hell about restarting the unit, afraid that it would default back to the X drive, but, after holding my breath during the restart, it came up smooth as glass. SHEW! 😌 What an ordeal, futzing with this thing for over a month, finally success! Lesson learned: make a recovery disc, and backup, backup, BACKUP! Thanks for your assistance, Stone! 👍 Ehhh, you have a point, except there's nothing wrong with it (now) for what I use it for, essentially as a spare or backup to my primary unit, this Vaio flipbook. I also have a Toshiba Satellite running Win XP lol, God knows how old that thing is. But I do need to purchase something updated sooner or later, I guess.

Ehhh... unfortunately, nothing worked, so I decided to try one of the "fixes" I Googled (big mistake), and ended up fucking things up even further! I now get "BOOTMGR is missing" and it goes no further. I can still access the BIOS, and change the boot order, so I am now downloading a Win 10 recovery program onto a USB drive, so hopefully I can boot the brick up via the external drive option in BIOS. But I have a feeling this isn't going to work either, I'll probably fuck it up even further. It looks like I'll be making a trip to a PC doctor soon 😒

Silly me, my DOS 5 skills have obviously deteriorated since the 90s LOL. The result is below. "File not found" *sigh* However, I AM able to reach the registry editor, if that helps. However, I've learned with past desktop towers, messing around in the regedit can cause catastrophic results 🥴 But I'll try anything at this point.

Thanks for the response, Stone, but unfortunately it didn't work. The boot order was set for optical drive then internal hdd, so I switched it to internal hdd, saved and exit, but it started back in diagnostic repair mode (and none of the repair options succeed). So, I'm back to square one. 😑

I have searched the forum and haven't found this topic. I have a Sony Vaio laptop model PCG-61A11L, manufactured in 5/2011, pre-loaded with Win 7. I upgraded to Win 10 in 2017, and everything was peachy-keen until a few months ago, when, after an apparent automatic 'upgrade', the laptop appears tp be trying to load from the X drive, not the C drive. After Winblows runs its so-called automatic 'repair' diagnostics, I can't recover shit from any of the options. Thankfully I have a backup flipbook so I could research this phenom, but the 50% effective 'fixes' are beyond my technical capabilities. So my question is, have any of you experienced this before, and if so, how did you fix it? I have done everything short of cracking open the case and removing that all important watch battery, and if that doesn't work, taking it to a professional and spending $$$. I would really like to save this excellent laptop, as it has never failed me in the past 8 years (except for the wifi capability going tits up about 6 months prior to this debacle) and I really don't want to do a FORMAT: C:\ or a DEL *.* on it because there are valuable files I'd like to keep. And yes, I have learned my lesson to back up every damn thing to ext HDs. Any helpful hints would be appreciated!

After watching the timeline prior to the 1500 bedroom scene, near as I can tell, the incident was sparked by some type of malfunction with the dishwasher, discovered by Kira at around 1425 (also notice the bandage around Kira's left elbow). Nina comes out to assist and they start investigating. Then at 1441 Nina appears to give up in disgust, leaving Kira to fix the dishwasher (which she apparently does). Nina sulks in the bedroom, and that's where we pick up at 1500. Having a quibble over a malfunctioning dishwasher? Seems like a trivial thing, and to have a crying fit over it on top of that is even more ridiculous, IMO. So something else must have been underlying, even though they were both lovey-dovey mere moments prior to Kira's discovery in the kitchen. Oh how I wish I had paid attention to my Russian language course! Bizarre to say the least. But then again, we are dealing with two females, so not to be unexpected (I apologize to any female forum members). Anyway, after they returned from their outing, everything appeared to be hunkey-dorey and they were once again lovey-dovey. Maybe they take a drive in the car through St Pete and work out their differences then? I find that driving around for a few hours with no destination in mind (for once) helps clear my head. But I guess no one will ever know.
