Talking about not going anywhere,you often hear people saying that being in jail isn't much of a punishment,that they have too many privileges etc,but this enforced lockdown we have is just a very soft version of imprisonment,a loss of some freedoms etc.It makes me think that prison isn't so kushti after all.What do you think pal!!.

Hi Happy,hope you and yours are safe and well.As for setting anyone straight I would love to but there are just to many targets and it's a stressful enough time without getting angry and upset over some of the stuff that's being said.This is as we all know a disaster and the Media,Politicians and the Medical profession will release info.and make statements which in some cases can be questioned but EVERYONE is just trying to get over this as quickly and efficiently as possible. Instead of blaming,faultfinding and feeble attempts at pointscoring off each other would it not be more productive for our sanity on here to maybe highlight acts of caring,goodwill and helpfulness in our communities.Instead of blaming individuals praise a healthcare worker,volunteer,carer etc that you may know or be related to. One of my Granddaughter's has her NHS badge and is starting somewhere on Monday volunteering but she doesn't know exactly what she will doing until then. My other Granddaughters partner is a Senior Physiotherapist and is now splitting his time between Physio and anything else that he can be utilised for. Everybody be safe,well,and stick to the rules

Hi Rob,we are all fine,just getting on with it and sticking by the rules.We have been painting our garden fence during this spell of gorgeous weather so that is keeping us busy and we 'll paint the fucker again if we have to😀.The grandkids are keeping us supplied with essentials god bless them so the car has never turned a wheel in about ten days.The reason I am writing this in the middle of the night is we had Virgin in today(strict social distancing)and the guy was all geared up too!!installing broadband and it's a pretty crap installation but it works.The point I'm getting at is that I lost my connection with you guys so between the two things I was so pissed off I went to my bed too early resulting in being awake at this unearthly hour.Right I thought I'm going to have a go at retrieving CC cos it was really bugging me but as you well know me and techy don't go well together.I was getting nowhere it kept telling me about a source error until I thought I wonder if Virgin don't let you watch adult stuff(stop fucking laughing) but seemingly they do.All I had to do was go into My Virgin Media log into website and take off the safety thingy which I appreciate should be their for obvious reasons and Geronimo here I am back in business.As for the installation Margaret and I are not happy so we will just have to wait and see.I'm glad Boris seems to be making a recovery and a huge thank you to ALL frontline staff and workers keeping us going.Politics is out the window right now as we all pull together.Well I maybe should get back to bed now that I have cracked this. You and the family stay safe and well pal👍

It's just well intentioned theory and speculation,and nothing wrong with that.We are all looking for the slightest glimmer of hope that some form of relief/cure can be found as soon as possible.I'm sure that as soon as some drug/vaccine that has been tested and proven to be the answer it will be made available to one and all regardless of race,colour or creed.
