Amy, please don't misunderstand what I'm saying, here. It's not meant
to be harsh or mean. It's just another opinion, another view. I have a
couple of questions for you. Just some things to think about, to knaw
on, as the old saying goes.

You said your idea would, "...solve the problem." But what if, there is no
problem? What if, there's nothing to solve? Obviously, VH condones
camming on their site or it wouldn't be allowed. And, there's probably
nothing that the opponents of camming can do to change that, unless
VH happens to change their mind, which doesn't seem very likely, at
the moment.

Also, it's obviously a part of some tenants lives, which makes it real life
for them. We have no right to tell or even suggest what tenants should
or shouldn't do or how or when they should do it. You've said that
yourself. So, shouldn't we just let them live the life they choose to live?

It's been said many times in these topics: If a tenant does something
that you don't care to see, just don't watch them, don't follow their CC
topic. And, if you choose to do so anyway, at the very least don't
complain about what you don't like over and over and over. I don't
think there's a day, while reading VH topics, that at least one person
doesn't complain about a tenant camming.

Here's another couple of questions. At some point, anytime in your
life, have you never had more than one job at the same time? Has
there never been a time in your life when you've needed some extra
cash? You've said more than a couple of times that tenants don't
always get paid fairly. Maybe, living their lives in a great big fishbowl
24/7 doesn't pay very well. This couple really likes camming and it
must be lucrative for them or they probably wouldn't do it. Shouldn't
we allow them to do as they like, to live the life they choose?

Oxford says voyeurism is the practice of gaining sexual pleasure
from watching others when they are naked or engaged in sexual
activity.
It makes no distinction as to how they get that way. We're
watching them get naked and have sex. According to Oxford,
that's voyeurism.
❤️

Lets, those are some excellent points you make. I suppose if we are to accept anything a tenant does in their home to be "their real life", then what's to stop them from conducting, full interaction cam shows into the VHTV cams? I suppose nothing, right? Surely, the same logic could apply to a porn set. Everything about a porn set is essentially fake, staged, and planned out. But to the actors involved, this is their real life. So, should people accept an actual porn set in view of the VHTV cams? Should people accept the tenants interacting directly into the VHTV cams? I guess so!

My definition of voyeurism is essentially selfish. I suppose what I focus on is the traditional idea of voyeurism in the sense that the tenants are supposed to behave as if the cams did not exist and we get to see what they do from a fly on the wall perspective. That's sort of my default perceptive on voyeurism. I know that I have interacted with the tenants on cam and have even made many "appearances" so I'm hypocritical in that respect, but you get my point.

Let me reverse the question and ask, "At what point is something not voyeurism then?" Everything about a persons life is real. Even if I fake doing something, I'm really fake doing something, therefore, it's real. You get the idea. So, are there any limits, rules, boundaries? I guess not, really. The only thing that really matters is what the majority of the viewers want to see. whatever that may be. Viewers demands are King and the site will go wherever that demand leads it!  VHTV is the only thing standing in the way, not me. So, ultimately, voyeurism is what VHTV allows it to be!

Ok, you win! No, seriously you finally got me. I'm pinned down and backed into a corner and there's no escape from the reality that voyeurism on VHTV is whatever they say it is. There is no standard, there are no rules, there are no boundaries! All of these things are strictly owned and controlled by VHTV per viewer demand.

I will still think of voyeurism from my own viewpoint because I am a voyeur and I understand what a real voyeur is and where the actual boundaries lie with that. But, for the sake of VHTV, I really have no say. I will accept that and pivot my point of view and comments accordingly!

Thank you Lets'! I told you that I love you and now perhaps everyone else will too. ♥️💋

Because they cam for a job while living on VHTV. You aren't their target audience. Personally, I don't think camstars belong on a voyeur site. I think it's moonlighting and double-dipping. I think VHTV should adopt a rule that says any camming to another cam site, such as Chaturbate, must be done in a room where there are only free cams; otherwise, it must be done in a room where there are no VHTV cams. That would solve the problem!

by that rule there are many couples will not leave the free cams area, the surprise will happen when their fans on the cam site leaving their cam shows for vhtv‘s free cams  😂

@Amy3, I would have to agree with your traditional definition of true
voyeurism. I, too, would enjoy the idea of the fly-on-the-wall, they-don't-
know-I'm-watching perspective. I wish it were possible to make a few
of the cams hidden from the tenants to give the viewer a bit of that
feeling. Not all hidden cams, though. I really like it when the girls put
their fanny (UK definition) right in the camera, like Sina, Amy, Clair,
Clara, etc. What can I say, I'm a guy.

Unfortunately, that's probably not feasible on these voyeur sites. I
would imagine the cams have to be visible for legal reasons. Plus,
they wouldn't remain hidden for long, after the tenants saw the pics
we post from those cams.

I could be wrong about this, but I get the feeling VH doesn't care too
much about viewer demands. You would know better about this
than I would. You've had much more interaction with them than I
have.

if we agree that the cam show tenants didn't do any thing wrong because the cam show is  a part of their real life as the meaning of voyeurism . the question ,why  there are so many cam show tenants? there are  many  others  as a variety real lives !  another point why any subscriber pay for cam show tenant who are performing to others while he can watching  thousands of cam shows on many sites as a fan of cam shows .

@x1000

"...why  there are so many cam show tenants."

My guess would be that VH can use it as a form of free or, at least,
cheap advertising. You've probably noticed the VHTV badges on
some tenants' broadcast pages.

"why any subscriber pay for cam show tenant who are performing to others while he can watching  thousands of cam shows on many sites as a fan of cam shows ."

Maybe because,1) there are other tenants who don't do cam shows,
or 2) because of the definition of voyeurism. See the last paragraph
of the post you quoted. Perhaps some people don't care what they're
doing, as long as they're naked or having sex.

Of course, these are JMOs. There's no way for me to know definitively
what the actual answers are to those questions.
