If I am right, in English grammar you call cats "she" by default until you know the sex of the animal. Besides, from the shape of her belly, I'd say that she's already has had kittens. I don't know if she needs care - I'd bet they took her for that - , but she gets it anyway and seems to appreciate it and be thankful. 😊 4
