Actually, 'sooking' is a word, although probably not the one he was
going for. It's the present participle of the word 'sook', which is an
alternate spelling of the word 'souk', which is a Middle Eastern or
African open-air market.

'Sook' could also mean the mature female Chesapeake Bay blue
crab, which is found along parts of the US Eastern Shore.

But, more in your neck of the woods, it's also Scottish for cow,
although rare.

He probably meant 'soaking', but due to the many language barriers and translation errors, I
try not to correct people's grammar, syntax, punctuation, etc.

Very interesting as always buddy but "sooking up to someone " in our neck of the woods means hanging in with someone to get into their favour or in Herman's case Romina's knickers.😀

I read that, too, but not that it was Scots for 'suck', just that it was another
form of the word 'suck'.
