hard to tell what they are. You usually do not have so long power wires coming out of the wall. The ends are obviously twisted or isolated. No danger.

No but electric wires and also ethernet cables with wall plugs. It is totally the same how you connect a cam.

Does make you wonder whether there is another reason for the delay but if you recall there was a long delay before they opened up at the last place.
