letsdothis
If you're using Chrome and the built-in right-click feature isn't working or isn't working correctly, try this. I don't normally use Chrome, but this is what I found a few minutes ago. I'm using this version of Chrome. 0 First, go to this page because it has several foreign language texts at the bottom of the page. https://camcaps.net/forums/topic/14068-anise-killian-2019-part-1/?page=34 Scroll to the bottom part of the page, so that you see at least a couple of the foreign language comments on your screen. Next, without highlighting anything on the page (important), right-click on a blank area of the page. Hopefully, you'll see something that looks similar to this. 0 Click on Translate to English and you'll see a box that looks like this. 0 Ignore the error msg and click the Options button. You'll see this box. 0 Click on the drop-down menu for Page language and choose unknown. When you do that, the Done button will change to translate. Like this. Make sure Always translate is checked and click the Translate button. Almost immediately, you should see all the foreign language on the page translate to English. Unfortunately, this feature is just temporary. The next page you go to with any foreign language on it, or if you refresh any page you've already translated, you'll have to go through the same procedure each time. If this feature doesn't work for you, or if it doesn't appeal to and you'd rather use a quicker and easier method, let me know. There are other ways to do this (that aren't built-in). I hope this is helpful.
letsdothis
And, of course, shortly after I did all the above, I happened to notice an icon in the address bar that does pretty much the same thing, except it does it a bit quicker and it doesn't seem to be temporary. Click on this icon in the right end of the address bar. This box will open. Click on Options and you will see this drop-down menu. Click Change languages to get this box. Change Page language to Unknown and the Done button will change to translate, like this. Make sure the Always translate option is checked, click the Translate button and all the foreign language text on the page will be translated. If you refresh the page or go to another page with foreign text, it will be translated automatically before the page loads. To test it, got to this page. It has plenty of foreign text on it, but you shouldn't see any of it. https://camcaps.net/forums/topic/12480-leora-paul-videos-2019/?page=101 If the Translate icon in the address bar ever disappears, right-click on a blank area of the page (with nothing highlighted) and choose, Translate to English. The icon will reappear. Simply close the box that appears and use the address bar icon, instead. I hope this is helpful.
TBG 150
I get and do the same thing. It used to be all I had to do was right click, translate this page, then it was done. Now, it's a big work around to translate. I removed and reinstalled translate.google.com, but that didn't have any effect. Everytime they do an update, it screws something else up. Why can't they just leave shit alone when it works? 😬

letsdothis
Why it's not a good idea to record using MP4 or MOV video formats. The software talked about in the article, OBS Studio, is a free, open-source recording and streaming software. If you're interested in trying it, you can read about it and download it here. letsdothis
Why Videos Don't Always Play On The iPad You don't have to read every article, unless you want to. If you just want to convert files without knowing why they don't work, skip to the sections about online and offline file converters. Note: There are a lot of words in these file conversion articles, but the actual use of them is rather simple. In other words, don't let all the words scare you off. ______________ The iPad supports the MP4 video format, as long as it is encoded to Apple's specifications. This article lists compatible and incompatible video file types, as well as some apps that will play the incompatible types without the need for conversion. Videos Compatible With the iPad ______________ For those of you with a computer, this article talks about a program that will convert mp4 files to an iOS compatible format. You can also download it from here (for free). Convert MP4 to iPad, Tutorial of Aleesoft Free iPad Video Converter Another excellent, free, desktop conversion program is Handbrake. Convert Video to iPhone or iPad Format This is also an excellent way to convert videos to iPad format for free. Note: Avidemux may look a little complicated, but if you follow the instructions in the article, it should go smoothly. The other software referred to in this article, I am not familiar with. How To: Watch Any Video on iPad, No Conversion Required ______________ Whether you have a computer or not, or if you just don't want to install any software, these are free, online video converters for converting files to iOS (and other) formats. This one is a bit of a misnomer, as Zamzar will convert to dozens of different file types, not just iPad. In Step 2, scroll down to the last section, Video Presets, and choose the iOS device you need. Zamzar MP4 to iPad Converter iPad video converter ______________ This is an excellent article that covers not only iPad video formats, but videos in general, as well. It also gives ways to convert videos to iPad compatible formats. The Complete Guide to iPad Video Format ______________ Part 2 of this article is the reason I included it. It gives the specifications for video and audio files for various iOS devices. In other words, if the file you're trying to play exceeds these specs, it may not play. How to Convert MP4 to iPad for Windows / Mac (Mojave Included) ______________ I hope this is helpful.

Robwin
25 minutes ago, Amy3 said: Hello! I have a new Dell XPS 15 and the fans won't shut the fuck up. I just have it plugged up connected to a 4k monitor with nothing but Chrome open for work. The fans don't seem to spin up when it's on battery. Any help is appreciated. Thx! ♥️ Hi Amy, this seems to be a very common fault with this model in that the fan is always on. One possible solution i have read is that if you have nvidia graphics set for default some say witching it to Intel. That seems to work for some but as i said this does seem to be a common fault with this model and many are moaning about it. Some say a bios update may have fixed it so worth checking your bios version and see if there is a later update available. Must admit i was always a fan of Dell years ago but since then i much prefer either HP or Acer makes to be honest. Best of luck.
van the man
Any advice you guys can give to a Tech Idiot would help....... What lap top would be best to buy to enjoy browsing the internet and in particular enjoy RLC? I don't particularly need any work or office capability but if it's available then great. When seeking the right specification what do I ask for? My wife is a keen user of an Ipad but is that the best tablet? Again it is almost exclusively used to browse the internet and watch media If Ipad is right which specis best. Thanks in advance
