As I said, I hope she stays right where she is and ratchets it up to super star status, but I can still hate what it will do to an otherwise sweet girl. By the time that life has hardened her into a completely different person, you and I and everyone here will have moved on to other pursuits. She will have to live with it forever. Paul apparently can't take it and bailed out. She will have to get used to that sort of thing. If they had been sober instead then none of the silliness would have happened. So yes Malia could indeed asked him round as she knew Leora was out until very late. it was only how he then acted that cast a gloom over it all.
