Maybe they have detected some voyeurs from afar thus the sheers on the balcony

They already know for sure who can see them!

It's a Mosquito net. By the looks of it, it hasn't worked out.

Ci vogliono delle zanzariere all'entrata del balcone infatti. Con una folata di vento queste tende diventano inutili.

In fact, it takes mosquito nets at the entrance to the balcony. With a gust of wind these curtains become useless.

Yeah they need to be anchored, plus hanging them like she was trying, they will find their way in through the gap at the top, like flies do even when the curtains are drawn.

Ahh Slip you have got it.  I guess they don't make screen doors there for the deck doors

No, those doors are weird aren't they, how they open like a normal door as well as a window. Always asking for trouble when insects are around.

Tilt Windows

Hinged windows are extremely functional and easy to handle. They are opened via a lever that makes the glass rotate, remaining open diagonally, that is, they allow air to enter and the room to be moderately ventilated and, at the same time, do not take up space to be opened. The central horizontal rotation axis makes opening and closing the window very simple, without neglecting the aesthetic aspect.
